A thread to keep each other up to date about where we all are in the process
got the call as well , well done everyone 👍
Awhh this is depressing to see 😂😂 so fed up waiting around 😂😂
congratulations everyone tho!!
unreal folks.
People who got the call today, they’d said we would receive something in the post, did they say it would be this week?
Also did anyone ask how many was due on the course?
anyone else waiting on a call?
waiting for my vetting to clear still 💀💀
it’ll be any day now they seem to be flying through the vetting now, said this to others but doesn’t get easier after vetting clears waiting on call. Nerves are wrecked
You and I both lol hopefully we will be in the next batch 😁🤞.
If the FOI in regards to 10 intakes this Financial Year is adhered to. It’s somewhat comforting to know that bar one month, there will be an intake every month from this June to April 2026.
How many students are there in each intake?
FOI said it will vary from 30-50. The maximum an intake can have is 54 - thats what it was designed for.
Vetting has passed, still got my medical to do. I am a return for the 2021 campaign. Hoping once I get medical out of the way in the coming weeks I will get selected.
Process has been very quick after confirming I wished to renew my application.
..
How did you get your vetting passed so quick when there’s some of us waiting 11+ months 😂😂
Honestly I have no idea, no clue how the process works. though I do remember I was in the low 200s in the merit list before removing myself from the process so maybe thats it.
hoping it speeds up for yourself.
660 or so on the merit list but that doesn’t really matter
No calls out today for anyone?
i got call there
for June?
congrats!! I’m sure you’re over the moon! What was your merit number approx? Trying to judge if I’ll make this course
Yeha i got call for June. Think I was 700 something. But honestly I don’t think merit list matters at all right now, just depends how much they have to check with your vetting and if it takes longer than others. For classes do they have to have a certain amount of men and women? Cause that might be a deciding factor for who they call for classes.
Stats updated. 190 left.
Says 04/04/25 - could be less given people have received the call after that date.
I swear the number appointed was 315 before this update. That would mean the difference is people that have dropped out and it doesn't even incorporate people that have received the call as the number of people that accepted position hasn’t increased🤷♂️
Those stats are pre calls so the ones that have been offered positions yesterday and today will come off next month's stats. There have been 49 people either withdrawn or got dear john letters or failed a part of managed stages taken into account the 80 that re-entered the process. If the class for June is 50 then there should only be 140 left in next months stats provided nobody else withdraws or fails vetting. Hopefully this makes the latest stats make sense lol
Aye, hopefully yous all get the call soon enough. Id imagine based on previous years, the one month between June 2025 and April 2026 with no intake would be July or April. Hopefully for your sake its the latter😅
Thanks. 👍
Apologies for what may be an obvious question - I’m just trying familiarise myself with the whole process.
In respect of the merit list…I’m not sure how many are on it but let’s say there are 300, does that mean that the highest performer from this current 2025 recruitment drive enters the merit list at position 301?
Also, how often is there a new intake of students?
Did anyone ask for deferral?
from our campaign if your the highest performer you would be 1 on the merit list. As for intakes, I think it depends on a lot of things including their budget and resources at the time.
