When somebody with autism states that "The fundamental weakness of Western civilization is empathy", the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

These are people that absolutely should be nowhere near the levers of power in any respect. Letting someone of that view have control over other people's lives is a recipe for disaster.

The thing is, he wouldn't be alone in that "feeling" amongst Trump's administration. You only have to look at the likes of Stephen Miller and you'll see a complete sociopath.

These people are bloody dangerous.

Must be pretty close to a margin call on the Muskrat at this stage. Tesla down another 10% so the value of the stock used as collateral for the twitter purchase must be razor thin.

Musk's business needs and desires obviously strike a chord with him not wanting Tariffs are is he afraid that EU might target 'X' as some EU states have hinted at what they want the EU to do in retaliation for Trump's tariffs?

sparked my interest last night. I assume, if I join that, i'm not limited to just discussing that topic?

Firstly, he's never been diagnosed. He claimed to have Aspergers, but there's no official diagnosis.

Secondly, people who are autistic have empathy. they just don't display it the way neuroptypicals do. Or some might not be able to read that others are experiencing mental anguish, but when they do realise, they do feel empathy. There's even autists who feel hyper empathy. They feel so much that it can be overwhelming.

In the autism subreddits, there's a lot of discussion about musk and how people are associating him with Autism. Pretty much every response in those subs is disgust at him and his actions. And there's plenty who think he's a sociopath or narcissist who's masking it by claiming autism.

Last week was world autism day. April is celebrated as autism/neurodiversity month. So rather than insulting autists, this is the time when you should find out more.

Whether he's autistic or not, he's a complete cnut. That's my official diagnosis.

I don’t understand why he insists on peddling this narrative of being some sort of elite gamer when it’s obvious that hes not to anyone who plays games on a regular basis - his Elden Ring build was one of the most bizarre I’ve seen.

And I don’t play Diablo/Path of Exile but it took 2 minutes to find out that getting characters to the level he has is basically a full time job.

Is he just trying to appeal to the 18-35 white male market? If so, he’s doing a terrible job at it.
