Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
They've done multiple European tours and 350 shows since the last nonfestival (ATN 2022) gig here.
last few years they were strictly looking for festival level fees here and their residency set up on recent tours hasn’t lend itself to making sense for Dublin.
Playing Belfast the day after Dublin too
Lost track of him after 1st album which I really liked and saw him in Whelans touring it and it was a great gig. I see they say in advance of his 4th album here's the dates - has his last couple of albums been good? 2 nights at Vicar St would seem optimistic to me.
The Oasis reunion after giving a few 80s/90s bands like Inspiral Carpets that reunion $$ boost
Manson back to Europe in the winter, I might try and get to the London date and maybe another, was unbelievable in Amsterdam,
Is he banned from playing here?
Yes, SFASH ends on September 14th, (runs 11th to 14th)so that should be part of it, allthough, it is very unusual for an act to announce, before the Official SFASH announcement. In any event, the SFASH lineups should be announced in coming weeks.
Matt Berninger is 99.99 % certain also - Cork Opera House for him though.
Was the last time he played supporting Iron Maiden in 05?
According to setlist.fm that's their only show here (excluding an appearance at the MTV Awards 99)
That can't be right, surely?
Yeah must be. Thought 05 was his first time alright. Was great too. Much better than Maiden.
Wasn't sure if he's been back but seems not. Mental.
Yeah mental, he must be banned alright can't think of any other reason like, met loads from Ireland at the gig in Amsterdam,
Luckily tonnes of gigs in Europe to choose from, if he's playing Brighton and Bournemouth he could fill a venue here like imagine him in the Olympia be unreal (too small for him though)
How can you be banned? Legally not allowed to come to the country? It surely can't be because of his performance? I once had Slipknot tickets and the show had to be cancelled because a parents association objected, I can't understand how that happened either TBH.
If you have a criminal record you might be denied entry to some countries.
I dont think he has any convictions, all charges against him were dropped.
2 nights in Vicar Street for Nick?? That's a stretch, no? I saw him last time for the First Mind anniversary and I'm not sure Vicar Street was full for that. Now I really enjoyed it but I wouldn't have thought he's been growing his fan base since then.
he isn’t legally banned from ireland. Simply as mcd don’t think a 3 arena show is viable
If only we had a 5k venue... 😉🤣
Shut up already hahaha 🙃😂🤣
his fee is probably ridiculous and a 5k 3 arena set up wouldn’t make sense
.😋
Some of the PlayStation: The Concert shows are starting to be cancelled around Europe. So far, Vienna, Stuttgart, Hamburg, Copenhagen.
Wonder if it'll be canned here too.
He's playing some really small venues on this tour as well, makes no sense really I'd say he'd shift tickets like god knows they'll put any dross in the 3arena these days like 🤣🤣
I picked up a ticket for the OVO Wembley gig there 80 quid to see him, speaking of fees he's charging 700 for a photo with him and a signed poster...
Wonder will Wet Leg announce a gig here when their new album is announced
St Lukes and SFASH confirmed since. Yeah bit unusual for artist to announce separately ahead of time. Berninger added a few more dates in Europe so reckon he will be playing Opera House on the Friday or Saturday night alright!
probably will have to wait till after ATN for announcement.
The Hives announced a new world tour for later this year, no Irish dates tho 😭
That was ages back too.
I think it was the 5 album year.
I think they played at the Olympia last year, so not very surprising.
yeah played less than a year ago
He probably should be
