Their bassist, James Stelfox, has been playing with Spiritualized for a number of years now. I hope he's not leaving as he's probably the best bass player Jason Pierce has had since Sean Cook.
stelfox has comeback for all the other gigs over the years . i dont think you need to leave one band to tour with the other these days - James still sounds great as always

I'm bringing my young lad to Noah Kahan in July. Like half the worlds population, I know the one hit that he has. But I was listening to some of his other stuff as homework so that I have an interest in the gig. Many of his songs are not as bland as they are made out to be. From I have heard so far, he has some really good songs. Call your Mom with Lizzy McAlpine is very powerful.

Chris Brown is playing on the same date as Justin Timberlake who’ll be in Malahide (great planning by whoever is responsible) so I’ll say that can impact sales, also I was surprised there wasn’t a call to boycott Chris Brown when he came here 2 years ago due to him being known to for his behavioural issues & also now there’s an upcoming documentary about his abusive behaviours so I do wonder if they’ll be call this time to boycott just like we are seeing for Disturbed to by boycotted
Chris brown fans have long since shown no issue with the domestic abuse. Not sure anything has changed on that front.

Agreed. But people love a bit of virtue signalling until it affects them. If Kanye announced a gig in the 3Arena tomorrow, it would sell out instantly despite him being an outspoken Nazi.
Still some tickets left for Divorce in the Workman's on Tuesday. They're well worth a look for anyone who likes a bit of quirky, imaginative song writing. First album just out, it's a cracker. 18 yoyos well spent. Don't say I didn't give you the heads up.

My gig-going pals, and the vast majority on here that I've had direct contact with at EP and other gigs, don't endorse fascist or criminal artists. I know dozens of Smiths fans. None are going to the Morrissey gig in May.
And isn't 'virtue signalling' a phrase of the knucklehead far-right that simply excuses their lack of compassion?
New to me but I like that track, and will keep a look out.
In addition to the album, they have a couple of great EPs. Heady Metal EP a nice starting point.

Not officially. Think it was teased as a worldwide exclusive announcement in sense of them reuniting for shows. But wasn’t advertised as only 2025 show.
