Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Would highly recommend catching this lot
Ska? On a Wednesday?
mbv doing a few uk dates after Dublin show
Turin Brakes announced as support for Deacon Blue at 3Arena in October.
perfume genius in stadium in November
In addition to the album, they have a couple of great EPs. Heady Metal EP a nice starting point.
New to me but I like that track, and will keep a look out.
My gig-going pals, and the vast majority on here that I've had direct contact with at EP and other gigs, don't endorse fascist or criminal artists. I know dozens of Smiths fans. None are going to the Morrissey gig in May.
And isn't 'virtue signalling' a phrase of the knucklehead far-right that simply excuses their lack of compassion?
These things are really selective.
Like R Kelly actually has some tunes but you'd never catch me playing Echo now.
An Austin Montego, cool 😉
Still some tickets left for Divorce in the Workman's on Tuesday. They're well worth a look for anyone who likes a bit of quirky, imaginative song writing. First album just out, it's a cracker. 18 yoyos well spent. Don't say I didn't give you the heads up.
Agreed. But people love a bit of virtue signalling until it affects them. If Kanye announced a gig in the 3Arena tomorrow, it would sell out instantly despite him being an outspoken Nazi.
Sixteen years since he beat up Rihanna, with plenty of incidents since. Astonishing that anyone would donate their cash to this unrepentant thug.
Chris brown fans have long since shown no issue with the domestic abuse. Not sure anything has changed on that front.
Chris Brown is playing on the same date as Justin Timberlake who’ll be in Malahide (great planning by whoever is responsible) so I’ll say that can impact sales, also I was surprised there wasn’t a call to boycott Chris Brown when he came here 2 years ago due to him being known to for his behavioural issues & also now there’s an upcoming documentary about his abusive behaviours so I do wonder if they’ll be call this time to boycott just like we are seeing for Disturbed to by boycotted
Shocked face gif
I'm bringing my young lad to Noah Kahan in July. Like half the worlds population, I know the one hit that he has. But I was listening to some of his other stuff as homework so that I have an interest in the gig. Many of his songs are not as bland as they are made out to be. From I have heard so far, he has some really good songs. Call your Mom with Lizzy McAlpine is very powerful.

still another 2 nights at marlay to be announced. Still expect Gracie abrams to be one of those
he did 3 nights in 3 arena in 2023.
Wouldn't have thought Chris Brown would sell loads to fill Marley park.
FaiFair enough
stelfox has comeback for all the other gigs over the years . i dont think you need to leave one band to tour with the other these days - James still sounds great as always
Their bassist, James Stelfox, has been playing with Spiritualized for a number of years now. I hope he's not leaving as he's probably the best bass player Jason Pierce has had since Sean Cook.

Capacity for gagas gig in Mediolanum forum in milan is 12700. So capacity is not an issue here for 3arena. But all arenas on her tour are basketball/hockey type. Stage itself could be a problem. I think shes just checking demand right now just like Linkin Park did and theres gonna be a bigger stadium tour in 2026
I remember them supporting Doves in TBMC around 2001ish I guess - reminds me, shame Doves aren't touring here - quite like the new album
yeah costs alot more to travel here Especially when talking about arena or stadium shows. Dozens of trucks have to go on the ferry, carnets/brexit paperwork if coming to or to uk after. Sometimes fee being offered doesn’t make sense. Band has to take hit playing ireland, versus profitable shows in the uk. logisitcs/routing plays big part as well in what cities are played on tours
