They contacted me in October and then last week for a bit more info on a couple of things I didn't go into enough detail on so hoping it's a sign that it's nearing completion

Same, I’m remaining only as a matter of principle now. It’s truly extraordinary that it takes close to a year (and more) for a background check. Only in NI.

That got answered today. i do not know how your merit list has increased in size. Am I not correct in saying it was down to the 100’s at one point?
It was queried with recruitment. 80 people since beginning of Feb reopened their applications and are now back in the merit pool

Hopefully for your sake, they honour the ones that have stayed in and put those 80 to the bottom of the ML
I really hope so, would seem a bit unfair that they withdrew and then overstep us that have been waited and committed to the process
anyone on here been for a vetting interview.? What it’s like or what it entails?
I would be interesting to know how many out of the remaining candidates are appointable and how many are awaiting vetting outcomes.
I would highly doubt there are people from the 21 campaign still to do a medical, PCA etc. Surely it would just be vetting?

I'm waiting since July on vetting, had additional information request 2 weeks ago, hoping to have clearance soon

I would imagine this week if they are to run a may course. They want to run the 10 courses they have projected this year, they need to run a course every 5 weeks 😊

My vetting was approved last week also so just waiting for the call whenever that will be
