I don't see anything that jumps out at me particularly from today's thing, but I'm curious as to what would have made for a "good" Indie/Partner announcement given that we're very near the end of the Switch's lifecycle.
I've literally just been looking at starting that!
No one excited about Power Stone? Sunk hours into that on the Dreamcast
Power Stone an epic long sought after port by this man child hope it will be worth the wait
Suikoden HD finally having a date of March next year leaves me with only Faxanadu on my I want it whete is it list.
Morsels looks absolutely fantastic. Outside of that it was quite a lot of dross. Good to see Yakuza games coming to Switch - though hopefully they don't overcharge
Yakuza Kiwami will be $19.99, so presumably €20 here. Digital only though.
From re-looking at the footage of the Trails in the Sky game, and the Japanese Direct had a much longer presentation of the game, I'm convinced that what was shown is from the Switch 2. There is no way that the framerate and graphics could be from the OG Switch.
Given the vague '2025' release date, they are not telling any lies by saying that it is 'coming to Nintendo Switch'!!!
SUPER NINTENDO WORLD Direct (Donkey Kong Country) 11.11.2024
Tune in on 11/11 at 10PM Irish time for a SUPER NINTENDO WORLD Direct livestream! The stream will be roughly 10 minutes and showcase Donkey Kong Country of SUPER NINTENDO WORLD at Universal Studios Japan. No game information will be featured during the presentation.
About time they revealed more info about the Donkey Kong opening. Was hoping I wouldn’t just miss it when I was in USJ during the summer, but it’s been months now so don’t feel quite as jealous as I would had I missed it by just a few weeks :)
How many more things can they announce before the Switch 2?
What's their big Christmas game this year? It's it just the new Mario Party?
The video starts at 29:50.
It's almost like they are toying with us at this stage, they know everybody wants the Switch 2 and are getting tired of waiting for it.
Stay tuned for a closer look at Nintendo Switch 2 in Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2 – 02.04.2025, airing on 2nd April, 2025. The broadcast time will be shared at a later date.
We have the time for the Switch 2 Direct in April.
Join us on 2nd April at 14:00 (Irish time) for Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2 – 02.04.2025, where we will share a closer look at Nintendo Switch 2.
Rumours of a Direct this week for switch releases.
I don't believe it. I think the last Direct was the last one dedicated to Switch. That's why they showed off Metroid Prime 4. Who knows though, maybe Nintendo have changed their mind.
Also, if Nintendo were going to have a Switch Direct, then surely February would have made more sense. The Switch 2 Direct is a little over a week away, why muddy the waters at this point?
Steam's Silksong page got a few updates yesterday (first updates in 6 years I think?)
A release announcement (or god forbid, a shadow drop) would be worthy of a Nintendo Direct.
Can you imagine a new Silksong trailer, followed by an "Out Now" slide? ☺️
…
Silksong gets a date. Watch this space. 😊
Something Something Zelda Twilight Princess HD pray to zuul
One huge 3ds game I would sell my soul to see on Switch is Radiant Historia, I would love to see something Chrono Trigger related tomorrow too perhaps NSO SNES related.
Only 17 hours to go
I'm not expecting much today for the OG Switch Swansong with all eyes on next weeks Switch 2 Direct. Maybe an update on Metroid Prime 4 and some smaller indie games. Hopefully they will throw in a few surprises since it is 30 minutes long.
Live Stream…..
A pac-vania was not on my bingo card. 😊
Metroid Prime 4 not shown a release date and still "2025". Its gonna be a Switch 1 game that releases after Switch 2 releases.
Trailer looks great though!
Yeah looks fantastic. Great visuals, looks like 60fps. Will be worth the wait and we'll be able to play on Switch 2 anyways.
New game: Rhythm Paradise Groove! Yay!
Out 2026. Boo.
Virtual Game Cards is a fantastic idea. Only 7 years late. 😂
Really great and will continue for Switch 2 so better late than never.
