Probably up there in my favourite live bands of all time. I only bought a second hand copy of their debut album last week.
Their new release is getting a lot of airplay on I suppose what you could call reputable indie stations, but I never understood their appeal.
Seconded. Very entertaining and i wasn't a fan of Sleeper. I was certainly a fan of Louise though.

June 28 is Saturday btw, i know cos linkin park play Wembley on that day. And based on their tour dates, they only have 2+ week window after July 11. I dont think they are coming this year, last one in rds was a bit meh, and the one before, when they supported Metallica was a disaster, thanks to Metallica fans.

Not an exclusive as far as I'm aware so a fair chance of a big Dublin gig in the late Summer.
ATN announced as sold out last week so I'd not be surprised to see the Fonts scheduled elsewhere.

Chats playing Academy 19/20th August , if i remember correctly they're the band that supported Qotsa when they last played the 3arena and were brilliant
Bad form alright, he's form for this as well I swear he's been booked for a few shows here over the years and has cancelled or failed to appear at all of them, wonder why even take the risk booking him at this stage

Collins barracks and fairview have all been announced. currently a vacant Friday trinity college slot unaccounted. iveagh gardens has a Saturday slot going as well. 3 more marlay park shows are to be announced as per planning application.

Are the bulk of the outdoor summer gigs announced by now? Bar maybe a few more Collins Barracks gigs think most have announced at this stage
Louise's memoir, Different for Girls - which was regrettably republished with the awful title, "Just For One Day: Adventures in Britpop" - is excellent.
I'd be hoping for something a lot more imaginative.
