Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
The Tubs in the Workman's Cellar on the 5th of April should please those of you with a grá for jangly guitars and growling 80s vocals. I saw them in Wales last year and very much enjoyed them in a mildly chaotic retro sort of way. Good fun.
Also play Dolans Limerick on the 4th. Tempted to head down to it, new album is very good.
Same night as Lambrini Girls in Whelans and Thurstoon Moore in NCH.
And they say you can't get the acts to Dublin anymore.
Not sure on authenticity but would assume a couple nights at Slane will happen also if this does
Foggy notions teasing some big summer announcements over the coming weeks on their Instagram
Couldn't see anything on their story or posts. Maybe it's been taken down/story expired so?
think it was on Friday
Maybe and might free up some tickets for the shows this summer but me thinks it won't be announced til after the UK/Ireland leg
Announcing beforehand would definitely be easier on the Ticketmaster servers.
not really. Don’t see a deluge of people selling 2025 oasis tickets for 2026 ones
They actually pop up quite often on Ticketmaster, saw a standing one the other day but 600+ after fees I just can't justify it
Announcing these gigs before the summer shows (or even around the same time) would reduce demand fairly significantly for the potential '26 shows as you have loads of people who already have loads of money into Oasis this year. If Oasis announced Slane/Knebworth '26 next week I would more than likely not even be trying to buy tickets whereas if they announced at the end of the year I would almost definitely try. Hence it would be easier on Ticketmaster's end. Not sure what you're getting at, I didn't suggest people would sell them in favour of '26.
TM doesn’t care about its servers and live nation want to ensure when they announce a big show it’s timed right for instant sell out. If oasis announced a Slane show tonight it would sell out on presales. Demand is crazy for them. If knebworth is announced it might be the ending of the reunion. Finish it off in style and let the boys count their money and go back to solo
Would be pretty sure it's a fake. Zero sense in the venue advertising it a year before it even exists and tickets are available.
Maybe Stevie?
Definitely not that big
venues tease announcements all the time, not unusual in that. Wouldn’t be surprised if tickets out on sale a year in advance if oasis doing select 2026 dates
City and colour doing his debut album in full in London in May, would love a show over here
Adebisi shank are back
Really good news indeed! They've been on the socials for a wee while. They're already playing a festival in Bristol - ArcTangent - on 16.08.25. They have new music coming too. I hope perhaps they'll grace a festival such as ATN, tho' might be too early in their reunification trajectory.
Saw they the first time round @ EP - were excellent.
And strangely, the following piece of art work appeared on the wall in our hospital, of all place, back in the day:
I imagine most people didn't have a clue what it was about! I messaged the lads to ask what it was all about, but couldn't get any sense out of them!
Kind of expected this as announced ArcTanGent good while back
James Vincent McMorrow announcing gigs tomorrow
I’m sure Ticketmaster would rather sell them out and not have the servers crash like last time. Obviously they would sell out straight away.
Also no way to know if Oasis is a proper band again so no idea what plans are at the moment. For example we could well have a new album could out.
the servers didn’t crash last time, it was just slow. Apparently 17 Million people trying to buy the 1.4m tickets for uk/ireland leg. Any more announcements will be crazy as well. From the horses mouth it was billed as a cash grab tour.
That would be great.
I see that Mick Flannery is playing in Buncrana Cinema in May! That might be cool, actually! Never seen him before. Always intended! Buncrana is 10 minutes from me by car. They seem to be running a few gigs, next wee while.
Mick Flannery 17th May
The 4 Of Us 25th April
Only ever been there for my kids' school musical x 1!
Interesting.
Ah you should go. I really like watching Mick live. I think he's a very underrated songwriter over here. We take him for granted.
Only seen him live once (Other Voices, Ballina), found him a bit flat and maudlin. Not much variety to the material. Loved him with Susan O'Neill though, a perfect match and grab any chance to see them together when it next happens.
Yeah, I know that's the perceived wisdom. I think he writes a great lyric and has been pretty inventive in the fairly restrictive genre he operates in. I mean if I came across this from some prospective American folkster on the EP bill, I'd be all over the thread about it but hey, singer songwriter is nearly a dirty word in Ireland these days.
