Doesn't work that way. The AR raised his flag to signal the ball or a player was in touch. It wasn't in the act of a player diving in the corner.

That's not really fair on Pearce. The mandate now is to send those for a bunker review rather than watch endless angles (and potentially get it wrong). Nearly every referee would have done that.
Our attack has become totally reliant on moments of individual brilliance from him and Lowe. That's why we couldn't score in the 1st 20mins v France.
Our best moments in attack came from kicking into space and our driving maul. Our technical skills and organisation in attack have gone to pot.

The wankfest over the retiring players is embarrassing.
Lucky to get out of there with a win, really only due to poor Italian dicipline. Some bad individual errors from Ryan,Beirne and alot of the pack. Crowley really struggled to manage the Ireland attack and placing kicking was awful.
A win is a win however massive clouds over that team currently.

Forgettable 6N, Conan, Sheehan, Lowe and Keenan the only ones coming away without big question marks over them. We’ve been papering over cracks but squeezing by Italy who played with 14 men for most of that match is an absolute travesty.
I'll take the Triple Crown and it was great to blood a 2nd out half. End of an era for a few players.
