Awards are proportional to salary. Which is very unfair on low paid workers who suffer the most when their employer acts illegally, but that is the law as it is written.
Equality cases at the WRC were inherited from the old Equality Tribunal and come under completely different legislation, so you are literally comparing apples with oranges. If you want the law to be changed, start ringing your local TDs.

The Burkes are appalling creatures. What are they doing going to Washington? Are they hoping to interrogate Michael Martin? MM is there to try and butter that f*cker Trump up so we Ireland and likely the EU maybe could be saved from hostility trump actions. I'm sure he doesn't want to be there and he will probably puke in his mouth as he leaves but he's there to help Ireland. The Burkes shouldn't really shouldn't be interrogating him during such a fragile time. It's all part of their campaign to ignore a court order/Irish law. Absolutely despicable.

I think it's because he needs to be at the appeal and he's now usually in prison and he was unable to attend the appeal because he's usually in prison. I think.
I think the appeal should go ahead and just let him attend on zoom or teams or maybe he can get a day release from prison to attend.
