Normally I'd agree fully with you but this time round, Trump appears to be going full reality TV in terms of ridiculous scenarios that are happening. So honestly I have no idea what to expect by eod tomorrow.
Whatever about the circus of Trump's office, the American Secret Service are particularly neurotic about protecting foreign leaders on their patch.
All the security team of the Irish delegation has to do, is alert their Secret Service liaison to the identities of any people they do not wish to have within an Ass's roar of their Principal, ie the Taoiseach, or events at which the Principal will be.
The Secret Service and Capitol Police will think nothing of picking up the Burkes, should they start causing trouble somewhere thereabouts, and putting them in a cell until the Taoiseach has left Washington and showing them onto the next plane home too.
And even that is minor enough to not preclude him. Might have to apply for a visa proper instead of going through the ESTA though
