Always a pain in the arse trying to find out stage times for gigs - even worse for those of us who don’t use Twitter - so how about we start a dedicated thread?
The Academy tonight; Negative Approach 7.05, Circle Jerks 7.50, Descendents 9.20
Anyone have any idea what time Limp Bizkit will be on stage in the 3 arena tomorrow? Thanks.
I would imagine around 9:15-9:30pm.
Started at 9:45 in Glasgow
Do you know when they finished there? Isn't the curfew in the 3 Arena 11pm?
finished at 11. Same 11pm curfew in play in both venues
They played till 11:00pm over there and started at 9:45pm.
3 Arena usually has shows over by 10:45pm so suspect LB will be on around 9:30pm.
They skipped two songs off the published setlist so there must have been some timing issue over there.
Anybody have any idea what time Lightning Seeds and then Paul Heaton are on tonight at the 3Arena ?
I just googled 🙄😁
Lightning Seeds 7:30
Paul Heaton 8:45
I haven't seen anything on X for tonight's show in Dublin, but Spiritualized was 8:30pm in Belfast last night with no support.
9pm in Dublin. No support on this tour
I was about to purchase a last minute ticket for this. But thankfully I checked the setlist from Belfast gig. They play 13 out of the 15 songs from the Pure Phase album. No thanks guys. I had obviously missed that it was marketed as such.
Is that definite?
as per the promoter on social media
I
yeah it was always advertised as such a show
It was marketed as such, yeah. And it kind of put me off too. Seen them a few times, and they're wonderful live, but I'd want more of the later stuff myself
Thanks! Will give me more time to "prepare"… My kids dinner! What did you think I meant?
🤔 Bonkers. One of their best albums and folks opting not to go. Why anyone would want the later stuff, aside from the last album, which was their best in years, is beyond me. And i say that as a hardcore fan.
My most anticipated gig of 2025 and I'll be going for a repeat performance in Glasgow on Saturday too. I'm trying to keep my expectations low!
I came to Spiritualized late, so my favourite album is actually Songs in A+E, but obviously Ladies and Gentlemen is close behind
It's not that I don't like Pure Phase, more that it's not high on my radar for them
I'd still be going if I wasn't going away tomorrow though, it's mostly laziness 😋
That's ok. You're allowed to have your opinion. But that shouldn't detract from someone else having a differing opinion. I would have liked a mixture of Ladies and Gentleman, A&E and Let it come down. But that's basically cause that's all of their songs that I know. I am not a hardcore fan. Saw them in the Olympia couple of years ago, and I enjoyed it. I didn't think it was magnificent. But I would go again, as feck all else to do on Thursday night.
Only really detracts if you allow it to. I don't understand why you wouldn't go though just because you don't know the material. Their gig in the Olympia was basically the past two albums and three oldies at the start. This could be absolutely epic if done right. Now it probably won't be, but there's a chance. The only thing that could top it was if they were playing Lazer Guided Melodies instead.
I strongly recommend you take a punt 😄
I'm really looking forward to it. Will be interesting to see how they perform it live, considering all the studio trickery that's on the album.
Ok. I might pick up a cheap ticket later on. Thanks.
Im heading in, should be a hoot. Pre-gig supps at a premium without the Headliner.
Anyone know what time Paul Brady is on stage tonight in vicar Street? Also anyone selling a spare ticket?
No support for Flaming Lips tonight, Yoshimi battles the pink robots at 20:15.
Anyone know the times for Steel Panther in Vicar Street tonight. Ticket says 8pm but seems a bit late
I like the sound of the support Black Sonic Pearls and the bass player for Slash is with them
8pm support, 9pm headline act. Doors 7pm in vicar
Dua Lipa - Aviva 2025: Gates open: 5pm Alessi Rose: 6pm Dove Cameron: 7:15pm Dua Lipa: between 8:30 and 9:00pm
Is it me or is the past-9-o'clock thing a relatively recent development? The few concerts I've been to in the past started close enough to 8 and even a few fairly recent ones (Hozier and Snow Patrol, both in 3Arena) started at 8:30 or so.
We went to see Alanis Morissette yesterday (Malahide Castle & Gardens) and she only made an appearance at 9:10, which was a bit disappointing especially since we didn't care for the opening acts who in our not so humble opinion overstayed their welcome. Granted, the published finishing time of 10:45 should given a hint, but still. There were quite a few young children there as well, including our own, for whom it was well past their bedtime anyway. So we left before it was finished, although we could still hear it quite well until we got to the car, and isn't it Ironic that that's the last song we could hear.
