I was made read and confirm I could meet the minimum system requirements when trying to buy Pandora Tomorrow in Xtravision. The audacity!
Jaysus I'm about the same.
Dang whippersnappers.
I'd say it was more she was a new employee who has been told to ALWAYS ask for ID for over 18's and she was just doing her job. In my late 30's i was asked for id in aldi buying a bottle of bucks fizz, i had to laugh and the woman who was 40+ said it was due to a Stanley knife being sold to a minor recently and there was a lot of trouble over it so all employees are asking id whenever they have to as management was watching.
Comon, let's face it. You were also buying a chainsaw in Aldi. That's why they asked for identity 😉
Was it something like this:
Extra Vision ballybrack when buying vice city I was asked even though same employee had been letting me rent over 18s movies for a long time. Didn't mention this as didn't wanna rock that boat.
A dating app that pairs you with new games instead of potential partners. That's how Andy Robertson is pitching the app Ludocene on Kickstarter.
Don't think I'd back it myself, but some of you might be interested in following its progress.
Good for you, I guess. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Signs up for app, app gives me a perfect match. It's Ace Combat 7, uninstalls app.
Dogs
I've bitten the bullet on AC7... And added it to my steam wishlist
...
I don't need any more excuses to use this
This might be the most useless app to me. By the time I've finished a game 5 or 6 have come out that I really want to play. I'm drowning in the good stuff.
Nah, this is the most useless app to you.
Just like real dating apps 😅
Not with my face and personality.
Hey, come on man, don't put yourself down.
It makes it less fun for us to do it.
WTF is that Death Stranding 2 trailer even about ?
WTF is Death Stranding even about. I have the first game, but I've never started it. How much of it is gameplay vs cut scenes + does it work offline ... I see other players can leave ropes, zip lines around. I don't want any of that stuff. Just offline only please 🙄
From what I remember, areas are considered offline when you're first in them until you connect them to the network in the game, and only then you'll start seeing stuff from other players. I believe you can play solely offline, but it'll probably result in a lot of grinding. You essentially build most of the infrastructure (roads, ziplines etc) with other players by all contributing materials/resources. So if you're playing offline, I guess you'd literally have to do all the heavy lifting.
It's kind of the theme of the game though; connecting people/areas and working together to build something greater, and not being alone in the game.
Though in terms of "what's the game about" with regards the monsters, creatures, babies, Monster energy drink… I don't think anyone will ever know. It's kind of cutscene-heavy at the start, but once you get to Chapter 3 it opens up a lot more and you have a lot more freedom to just bomb around making deliveries.
The central metaphor is about as subtle as you’d expect from Kojima (the main character is called Bridges because he builds bridges, after all), but credit where it’s due: the online mode for Death Stranding is genuinely novel and thematically apt, and you would be missing a notable part of the game by turning it off.
Ok, interesting. Had a quick Google to figure out what's shared between players' worlds. Think it would annoy me unless I was checking in very regularly.
You can absolutely ignore the online stuff, just play a fantastic single player game and be pleasantly surprised when you come across a well placed ladder/rope/road etc left by another later. You will naturally build things and place resources and those will be shared to other players worlds. It's so seamless, you find have to check in or manage anytime with the online part of things.
Loved Aliens: Dark Descent.
I've just bought King Arthur: a Knights Tale a little earlier for some TBS game fix for later.
Ok, good to know. Thanks. Will hold onto my copy so and give it a decent go when I eventually get round to it.
Stuck on a nasty, nasty boss in Wizardry Variants Daphne. Bosses that get two turns and pump out status effects are a crime.
Anyway looked up the community to see if there's an easy way around it and looks like it's a sticking point for everyone.
I love the wiki maps note on where the boss is located
I haven't found one game that scratches my xcom 2 itch. I haven't tried mutant zero yet and I've heard that's pretty close.
Kingdom Come deliverance 2 is a goddamn delight. I couldn't even finish the first game as everything felt like a struggle but in this one, it keeps it's grounded gameplay but more user friendly. The first game gets summed up nicely in early dream sequence but everything about it so far has me smiling. Laughing or audible reactions to most cutscenes, you get instantly invested in the main characters through the great writing and acting. Has completely taken me out of my gaming lull.
