I bought a pro and it arrived Friday however am having ridiculous issues.
At the start I couldn't connect to 5G set it to auto still wasn't working somehow fixed it. .
Now when I start downloading am constantly getting them stopped and lost licenses for my games..
My Ps5 never had these issues is this an issue with the hardware or what's going on? Can I get a replacement
Have you made your new Pro console the primary one on your account? This is the cause of your license issues.
No, I never needed to do that I game share - once your connected and logged into your account the licenses should still be there.
When im downloading a few mins in it just stops and I lose connection to everything I have to reboot console and then I get back up and running, I can play games etc all the time but if I download something I will get cut off

I see Smyths only have the €130 collectors edition of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 but there is a physical standard edition in the US. Nothing on Amazon here, fingers crossed we get it. Does anyone know any other websites to keep an eye out for games?

Most of the limited editions are excellent. Something lacking here though. For such an iconic game I think a bit more effort needed.

An absolute joke. You've bought a game on console, you shouldn't need to sign up for anything.
The same thing happened recently when I went to play Gears 5 on Steamdeck; there was a dialogue box that kept trying to open (and freezing). When it finally did, it was making me have to sign in to a Microsoft account. Ended up not playing it.
Personally, I'd say I'd rather have the inconvenience of signing up to an MS account rather than not being able to play Forza on PS5. If you have a laptop or a PC chances are you already have an MS account anyway.
Sony make you have a PS account when you try play PS games on PC. It's just something that seems to be fairly standard and takes two minutes.

Yeah at the time though, wasn't 100% sure of what my MS password was and didn't want the rigmarole of trying to enter different passwords on the SD (keyboard is finikity at the best of times) so just didn't bother.
I think EA make you sign up for some of their sports games and stuff too. So yeah, it's fairly standard these days. Just a pain in the hole.
Yeah, EA, Rockstar, Bethesda and Ubisoft usually require you to log in with one of their accounts. Thankfully it's usually a 1 time linking of accounts and doesn't require you to sign into each game.
I'd actually be surprised if a significant number of people didn't have a Microsoft account. A significant portion of the gaming community will have one from the Xbox 360 days and a lot of PC gamers will have one as PC Game Pass was repeatedly €1.
It's like the Rockstar Launcher people are always complaining about on the Steam Deck. I have a Rockstar Social Club account from the 360 days to track stats amongst friends, it's a non-issue. Log in once and boom.
At least on PS5 you'll only need to log in once. Any PC gamers with a Steam Deck will need to login to launchers twice :P
The Astrobot bundle has now been announced. According to leakers it will initially be sold at a discount, around €480.
Indiana Jones has been rated by the ESRB so hopefully a date for the next month or so is imminent. Really excited to play it.
According to Mark Cerny PSSR will be replaced with FSR 4 on PS5 Pro next year. Link may not load as Twitter is a dumpster fire.
Hmmm, so PSSR, was just a PISS take/stop gap. I see digital foundry giving good reviews of FSR4, so this will be a good thing rather than yet another upscaling technology for devs to deal with.
Not exactly, it seems FSR 4 is built upon what AMD and Sony worked on for PSSR.
The usual leaker states it is out on April 17th.
