I wonder how this will work out for him

It was 700 for each day he turned up right?
I've been saying it all along. In 20 years this will all still be ongoing.
Nope. It was €700 per day for contempt of court from 27th January 2023 until 14th June 2024 when Justice Owens made a permanent injunction against Enoch.
Apparently, the daily fines ceased then, and some unspecified days were not counted, but there has been no clarity published on what days did count towards the contempt fines, and what didn't.
There was much debate on it a few pages back.
So we will all be paying his fines for him.
What an absolute clown show.
sure what do you want the court to do at this stage ffs? Force him into a labour camp to repay them? Cmon are you gonna bitch we’re “buying his groceries” as well?
So about 113 days from a possible 500 or so. Looks like he was only fined for days he turned up to school so.
Nope. Because if he was fined only for turning up at the school, it would be a lot less than €193k.
You know he was being fined for contempt of court.
Do you really want to drag the thread down this road again?
Stop paying him his salary for a start
absolutely but that’s not something they can do. For whatever reason the DAP hasn’t done ahead and as soon as it’s done and dusted you’d presume he’ll no longer be paid.
Probably no one wants to be a DAP member. Can you imagine the hassle you'd be get from the family, probably for the rest of your days?
Hard pass.
Pointing out the actual fact we will now be paying his fines is reality.
It should never be allowed to have got to this stage and the High Court bears responsibility for that.
"You know he was being fined for contempt of court."
Yes. But he's obviously not in contempt of court every day as you seem to think. The fines would be over 500k if that was the case. A fig of "just over 79k" was bandied about yesterday on RTE.
No one if forcing you to go "down this road again". Feel free to not engage. What unspecified days he is not being fined for is relevant.
Debug Adapter Protocol, Delivered At Place, Digital Analytics Program, Disciplinary Appeals Process, Dismissal Appeals Process,…?
Off you go so.
But if you don't want me to reply, don't quote my posts.
So permission has been given to put in place a structure where Burkes wages can go towards paying some of his accrued fines? Two questions, when will this be put in place? Because from what I've seen that will take months and months to set up and does that mean they intend to keep paying him for months and months?
And we've been saying it for over a year on here now…when is he finally going to be sacked??
The timeline for the garnishee order is now in the hands of the AG. Next step is an application to the court for the order. Based on the reports of the judge’s comments, and the fact that it was a judge who took the somewhat unusual step of kicking this process off some time ago, the order is very likely to be granted. The court won’t worry about the mechanics of how the order operates, that’s for others to resolve. And in any event there is nothing very complicated about it.
Regarding confirmation of his dismissal, it’s not clear to me where the blockage is at this stage. I thought that Burke’s objection to one of the appeal panel members was overruled ?
He's being paid by taxpayers to do nothing. That's a scandal in itself.
How much have this family of self styled geniuses cost the State and tax payer in nonsensical court cases and general mental carry on?
Apparently the Garnishee order against EB has been granted?
For approx €80k.
Don't know where that figure is coming from, and have given up trying to figure it out, at this stage.
The figure bandied about a few weeks ago was €193k, but has changed again.
clearly and evidently they are not considering Burke to be fined during his time in prison. It was also never actually stated that he would be fined daily to include school holidays/weekends.
Either way, if they take some action against him and start draining his salary he might just cop on. Bar the prison time he’s gotten away with it Scot free & id definitely agree with the judge who said Burke is clearly exploiting the imprisonment for his own ends
You mean… start taking away some of the salary he shouldn't be getting anyway.
It's a farce.
Its about 2 years' salary which would put us back to when he was dismissed. In other words, they know he has it.
Can he not just p*ss off and get a job in the Trump crime gang I mean, administration, already? I mean you don't want the Tate brothers to take up the last posts……
Seeing that as we speak the Tate brothers are on a flight to the US, probably by invitation to also be given roles in Trump's Elon's administration.
It's an order allowing deductions from future payment not what he has now.
There's no guarantee he has any of his wages from the last 2 years. Maybe he gives it all Mammy and she gives him pocket money for being a good boy and going to school everyday.
Imagine NOT using that flight name that stopped over in Knock . . .
Is he still showing up at school everyday at the moment?
Yip. We will be paying his fines whenever it kicks in if it does.
He gets to keep whatever he has earned from doing nothing the past 2+ years.
It's almost March, any sign of that panel meeting?
Absolute clown show.
Anyone know where the family are now, after the judge hinted to the AG that EB's teachers salary be taken over to pay the court fines he's run up? Are they still in country?
Are they still in country?
Are you serious?
