Predict the SUN, the total sunshine expressed as a percentage of normal at the six stations used (Belmullet, Casement, Dublin, Shannon, Cork, Valentia).
For the BONUS question, predict the maximum daily temperature for 14 Feb at Valentia.

Surprised at that its freezing here in Dublin today don't think we have got higher than 5 degrees. Obviously Valentia is the place to be on Valentines Day!

I was unable to access met.ie website until now, so a bit late checking data for scoring … all is good except that SUN worked out closer to 127%. I need to look at Feb scores in general as the range is too low, means almost everyone will be dropping Feb later in scoring year. The SUN adjustment basically takes away one point from all but two forecasters, so that doesn't help me with the range. Will be back later with any solutions after a few hours of sleep. You can expect the rank order to stay the same in annual and four seasons scoring. By the way, in Feb scoring table that needs to be edited later today, one total score had an error (which I caught during annual scoring) — JPmarn has 52, not 42 as shown.

Artane2002 had the "hammer" and scored 20 before adjustment, so those points went to an elimination of 2 pt late penalty.

SUN scored from 122 down and 128 up as a slight adjustment to "minimum progression" as MS revealed 127% result.

As a result all SUN scores were same as in previous table except Joe Public, Gonzo and MTC went up one. Artane2002 went up two from an error in previous scoring.

In previous table JPmarn was shown at 42 total, it was an error of -10 (52 from numbers at time). Today's check of scoring also gives JPmarn 4 points for MIN (not zero as shown). Along with the extra MAX point almost everyone else gained, this added another 5 to JPmarn's score for new total of 57.
