Had almost 60k and most of that was free charging in work.
If they want to look good in the books they can offer a decent trade in for my M3H - it should be 1 year old by Q3. Although I am seriously pondering if Tesla is the right car to drive.. completely separate discussion, but that same thought might hamper their sales everywhere. Looks like Hyundai and KIA are going to win from this all.
Why would you be giving up your Highland?
hi, anyone with experience between a 2022 model y and the updates 2023 model y. Is the suspension that noticeable? I’m looking at used and I’m very tempted by a deal with a 2022…. But having second thoughts cause of suspension?
Drive both and see what you feel yourself. Make sure they both have the 19” or both have the 20” wheels so you’re comparing like for like.
I had the late 22 one with 20’s. It’s a hard ride compared to a bmw 7 series. But not hard compared to a bmw 5 series with 20” wheels too. It’s really dependant on what your coming from etc
Irish prices for new Model Y in full
New Model Y RWD
€45,058 on the road.
Stealth Grey colour included.
Showing June Delivery.
pricing looks roughly the same as the current model, if I’m reading it correctly?
Yes. As I said previously. They don’t increase. You get grey instead of white included so that will appeal to some.
makes sense - the Y market wouldn’t take a price increase at the moment.
And they seems to have kept the 0.99% finance deal? I should have waited… but then again Elon Musk is a loose cannon, who knows what he will get up to next!!
Too many in the segment now. It seems to be priced right when you compare spec with G6, ID4, Atto, Ioniq 5, Niro etc
The. If you want a little bump up there’s Enyaq, BMW etc
Looks like you don't get the upgraded audio as standard on all models any more, which is a pity. Personally, I'd prefer that over the standard stealth grey if I were ordering..
From memory:
Standard range down from 46521 (but had not been available to order for some time) to 45058. Also a second quicker to 100 and an extra 50km range. With the safest colour choice (grey) now free, all in all a very compelling package for €45k.
LR RWD up from 48021 to 51246.
Don't recall AWD prices.
Standard RWD should clean up in sales. Bloody glad I got rid of my 'old' one a few weeks ago now!
Says 5.9% for me?
Ah they have updated it. It was 0.99% earlier this morning (obviously I caught them in the middle of making changes).
Seems I posted my picture above mid way through Tesla site update too.
Price is actually €44,990 on the road. No federal scheme though available on the new shape.
Effectively a 2800 price reduction (grey was 47.8K before) while offering a slightly longer range and a better 0-60 time.
This might challenge some principled stands indeed.
All the whites gone up in value 😂
I always thought the white looked good with the black accents. I think the stealth grey has been the $0 option in the states for a while now. Didn’t take long for the other trims to come out lol. Now just need to wait for the 0.99% which should be here by next Thursday afternoon!
I like the white too. It’s a pearl white which helps.
it’s alright when it’s clean. It’s never clean.
Ceramic coat and a weekly wash does wonders. It also helps that I have a built in wash bay though 😂
Wondering if the uprated drivetrain spec on the new juniper rwd is due to it being a new motor unit or a software release?
Are the referral links for €500 off only for the old model Y ?
yes. Inventory only.
I've had that grey before, it's v soft, the white is a better quality finish and improves with replacement of chrome logo'ing with Matt black
(Multi-coat) White is a better quality finish than all the other colours, not just grey.
45% of sales were white in 2024, so people go with the cheapest free option - and the white was actually one of Tesla’s better paints for sure.
So the base V base price drop isn’t nearly enough for anyone with a principled stand to change their mind I would say.
