Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Oh i agree, but you know how things are.
The only reason why he should be in the main room is merit rather than his being a nepo baby
Speed + Drug Church, Whelans, Tuesday 17th June: https://www.whelanslive.com/event/speed-drug-church/
One for the Hardcore heads.
Great stuff. About time someone did something with Mahers.
Automotion have been round for ages, don't think they'll ever be anything
This mightn't be the place for this but just copped this, new addition to the musical landscape in durty Dublin. Some big enough names associated with it.
Yeah, old fogeys like me would like an earlier start and finish. Who’s stays up past midnight these days? 🙄😵💫
Cheers EN. I've a nice little run there, Theatre, Personal Trainer, Opus Kink, Being Dead, Pale Blue Eyes...and sure we'll see how we're doing after that.
That’s a very late start. With all of those acts I’d assumed it was an all-day thing. Looks brilliant, have a blast all of ye.
Maria Somerville Irish tour along with new album on 4ad
You should also check out Makeshift Art Bar and Shelf Lives. I reckon they'd be up your street.
I'll give them a listen 🙂
As you might expect from me Adore and Mandy, Indiana are noise 😋
Adore I think you'd call garage rock, not exactly innovative but I like what I've heard. Mandy fill that gap between guitar noise and keyboard noise, really like their album last year
Haven't seen either live, but I'm optimistic
I'm going Saturday and my schedule will be built around PVA, the only band I know (and like).
Quite a bit of listening to do in the next couple of days.
Hoping to get in on Saturday myself, if I can shake the damn lurgee. Have to admit though, I've only heard of two 🤣 (Adore and Mandy, Indiana)
That's an awful lot of clashes.
Recently found out that Automotion feature one Lennon Gallagher. So i'm surprised they're in the Cellar and not the main room.
Borderline times, someone was asking before!
It's spoken word. Promoting his new book (same name as the tour).
Shaun doing a solo tour. Something to dread I think but I’ll probably go anyway as on my doorstep. Last set list was two years ago, solo and Black Grape stuff.
Had a great time at Pulp in At Anne's, but gonna skip this unless the mood takes me in June and there's a resale going. If the setlist is anything like the last one it'll be a good night.
There they are
Saw something this morning for Shinedown/BFMV at Belsonic which is probably fake as that won't sell well. Shinedown have never done a headliner here ever and they don't have the pull to draw and crowd that size
great news, defintely going to 1 or more, in Europe
Neil Young dates coming Monday
Handy that she could fill in at such short notice after Hugh Jackman had to cancel due to logistical reasons.
Hugh sold feck all tickets and they pulled him for her.
The Null Club, Workmans Club, Friday 2nd May. Gilla Band guitarist branches out on his own: https://singularartists.ie/show/the-null-club/
Same night as Iggor Cavalera in Lost Lane: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/iggor-cavalera-at-lost-lane-dublin-2525-tickets-1250883188289?aff=ebdsoporgprofile Not sure what an Iggor solo set involves but i suspect it's him twiddling knobs.
Sabrina Carpenter added a 2nd night in Hyde Park
The new AC/DC at Slane
For E's and Wizz ?
I heard Slane 😋
I've seen the rumours that it's actually a possibility that "Nirvana" would do a tour in 2026, having seen them do that LA benefit gig and that SNL 50, not one signer they got could actually do justice to the songs,
Seems very like Oasis Noel gets a divorce band gets back together and Dave now has those issues and it's let's get Nirvana back together, tickets be gold dust anyway
