Anyone any recommendations on replacement parking sensors? Couple gone on my wife's ID3 for a second time, out of warranty now. Think I've found some on AliExpress for around €25 and they look straightforward enough to replace, but wanted to see if anyone has bought some they can guarantee will work/be compatible before I order.

Maybe try eBay.de, can sometimes get decent prices on genuine parts. Postage shouldn’t be too much on small stuff like that. Best to search using a part no. It’s probably 5WA919275C or a variant of it.

Be aware the 3rd year of the warranty has a mileage limit with both of 90K Km’s. Skoda even though it’s a sister company has a much more generous mileage limit on year 3 of 150K Km’s.
My Born is out of warranty end of sept this year but thankfully is still going strong with no faults. Has 46k kms on it now, maybe 60k by Sept maximum.
I'm going to hold on out of warranty anyway, I haven't heard any horror stories at all
Cupra have moved to 5 years warranty in the UK. It would be good if they followed that move here.

I dont think anyone can give you the average, only anecdotal values from their own. My Oct 2020 one is around 93% with ~100k km's on it

You’d be as well to include 2021 cars in your search. ID.3’s only became available around September 2020 after many many delays. e-Golfs were also still being sold in 2020. Only 7 2020 ID.3’s for sale on DoneDeal at the moment and none of them seem any cheaper than 2021 models.
Anybody know a rough estimate on the difference between having a heat pump and not having one? I'm nearly certainly not going to go with one as it should have enough range but if it's a huge amount and for example pays itself off within a few years it might be worth adding as an option?
My current car has one and it's the only experience I have since its my first ev, range definitely lower in winter but it's not an issue for my use.
VW heat pump generally regarded as not being worth the money - indeed, they had to partially refund some early ID4 owners in the UK as it was so shite!
