Can anyone help me with this?
How do I close the gap between these 2 windows? I thought it was just a matter of adjusting the screw with a hex key but when I do it makes no difference.
TIA
Page 45, P strip might do it.

Are these timber windows ? the gap you want to adjust is horizontal - opposite direction to the red arrows ??
post a pic of the whole frame please.
…and show the hinge with the window open too.
I have a feeling that there isn't any horizontal adjustment, you might need to add window foam tape to the opposite side of that rubber seal (and tightly close the window).
Thanks very much. Will post pics when I get home.
Thank you. Ill post pics later.
Hi. They are timber windows and yes the gap is horizontal.
No Adjustment I'm afraid..
Unless you put spacers behind the hinges, but you must leave room for the timber to expand and contract. there wont be much movement, but still..!
If they are not sealing when closed its probably a lot safer to just use the foam tape.
Thanks whizbang!
Any recommendations on tape?
Agreed.
The Exitex window/door stuff in Woodies is fine, very good adherence as long as the surfaces are cleaned beforehand.
Thanks very much. Im up in Antrim so no Woodies!
I can get it online. Which profile would you suggest?
You could cut a length of timber (same as the height of the window) and put it lengthways on the inside of the window that doesn't open so that it overlaps the window that opens, or on the outside of the window that opens so that it overlaps the window that is closed.
Brilliant. Thank you very much. You're a gent.
The Exitex p-profile on page 47 of the brochure should be fine:
