Feck all! I think i got a pack of doughnuts, which i had no interest in (they weren't fresh ones from the bakery section) - but was willing to try expect I never managed to actually find any.
That app has gone to pot altogether, I barely even check it any more.
Found the post from my "birthday" - i wouldn't be getting too excited if I were you!
Thats what I got in December.
It's 2.5% off the equivalent of cash tho, so it's extra on top and not factored into the price the supermarket charges.
Thanks 👍 also noticed on the Vodafone app. They have the same with a few different offers. The likes of IKEA and tk maxx also offering 2% and 4%. Halfords 5%. If someone was planning on a big purchase it's worth having a look.
If you're with Vodafone you can these for Aldi, Tesco's, Lidl, Nike, Amazon, penneys, apple and a ton more, I always use them for online or self checkouts, feels weird having to hand in your phone irl though
You have to hand in your phone? It’s a digital voucher you buy??
Yes, the cashier scans the voucher barcode image on your phone.
Can you add these digital vouchers to Apple Wallet?
Scratched 4 cards I'd accumulated and got 2 25% off snackrite crisps and 2 25% off red hen products, thanks Lidl!
Resulted in the main shop going to Aldi this week.
App is dead and buried at this stage I think, with parkrun gone probably not worth scanning only for having the receipts on the phone is handy or on the off chance that something you're buying anyway is on it.
I have a Google wallet and there's an option to put in gift cards, then entering the card number and pin, I'd imagine it's the same on apple
It gives you a barcode pdf file anyway when you buy so you can screenshot it anyway to scan
Lidl plus is useless now….no proper discounts, no proper treats & no Parkrun treats! Better off with the Dunnes vouchers now
I miss the parkrun free pineapple chunks
I've only a honey and a half left 😭.
rolls of cling film, jars pasta sauce dated 2022, loadsa honey, some tuna tins dated 2025, still some wholenut choc bars, those cacao protein balls, those cough drops, a few boxes of sandwich bags, some pasta packet mix, those tinned travel sweets, some baking paper,..
eek.
I’m not sure what you have planned for valentines but sounds interesting
It's not great. I had one and got a shark quite soon after.
Ahh I've still 15 of them 😀
The Lidl app is muck now. No Parkrun offers, no freebies or good discounts. I don't get the scratchcards really anymore, and when I do, I get the same one repeated concurrently.
The new scratch cards are even worse - 50% off 1 item of a product you would probably never buy anyway (fizzy jellies or wheat crackers which are only 1.20 anyway!)
i am still using using the lidl plus app to get the special offers like 3 packs of salmon or prawns for 9 euro and my local is part of the shop and earn points scheme so they add up, scratch cards aren't even worth opening nevermind using
Not even a free pastry anymore!
Broccoli offer is super bad too, aldi have the same for 49 cent this week. Do the marketing team even look around anymore or did they go full Lidl too?
It's the fact that it's all unhealthy junk food too
Ifs it's free that's fine
But give me 50% a drum of milk, give me 50% off rice, 50% off frozen chicken breast, not breaded red hen
A practical loss leader
Landscape has changed for grocery retail. Population growth, inflation, supply issues, input costs especially staff costs this year.. all mean it is not necessary for generous promotions. We should be happy enough, Lidl still say
Frozen brocolli is much cheaper and just as nutritious
Lol see what I got today 🤣
Where are you getting 500g frozen broccoli for 50 cent ?
frozen cheaper per kg
Works out roughly the same with the fresh at the 49c price.

I'd always choose fresh broccoli unless it was being blended up as frozen seems to turn to much when cooked.
Find majority of frozen veg to be very poor quality unless being blended.
€10 off €50 for new Enfield store.
