Any update on SIRO in Naas. Has anyone got their service back?
Also to note there is still an ESB cable down on the Sallins Road opposite AppleGreen and is impossible to see in the evening and early morning, as the area is currently not lit up. According to powercheck.ie it will now be tomorrow before it is sorted.

Our team is back onsite to repair the damage caused by #StormDarragh in Kildare and we expect the fault to be resolved today. We will update once we have further information available.

Let's hope it happens. If it does please post here.
https://www.boards.ie/discussion/comment/122932890#Comment_122932890There's lots of talk of the station moving, but calling it millennium park is more than a bit of a stretch. The below plan makes very little sense as is, I know parking in Sallins can be a challenge but making it only accessible by car seems like a daft idea.

That explains the fine big roundabout on the Sallins bypass, with an almost traffic free branch leading down to Lidl Sallins.
Consult me asp, them bize are way ahead of the rest of us.
Anyone recommend a good local financial planner?
anyone recommend a good car garage in naas? i have been done over by a couple for which i wont be returning to. tks.
is there a badminton club in Naas?
You might have to go to Newbridge. Their fb page hasnt been updated in a while.
DC Auto's orAutowise, been mentioned alot. What do you need done. I know Healys Tyres service cars now, do other jobs too I imagine.
I see go ahead running the 139 service this morning. Great to see
No, JJK have just got new buses in the NTA standard colours.
ahhhh right
Anyone going down the town for St Bridgets stuff?
anything decent on ?
Searched loads of places. Not much on here. Lots of busking in Kildare Town on Sunday & Monday. Might go over to that tomorrow. It's a pity McAuley place or the men's shed didn't do a bridgets cross making class. That would have been nice.
Anyone recommend a good dog kennel/boarding place in Naas or nearby?
there’s a place up by two mile house called Fluffy Paws. They seem to have a good setup, had looked into them before we got a relation to mind our own dog before.
Is it a house or kennels?
operate out of units behind soul shot I believe
I see Sallins/Naas is being forgotten again, increased rail prices coming later in the year not inside a "short hop" zone anymore.
All
I refer to Bord Na Mona/AES. I Got text message from them on Sunday night to leave out glass bin for collection on Monday here on Dublin Road. Did that and they were a no show. Emailed them early today with no reply.
Anyone else get the same text, left out their glass bin for collection and was it collected?
Yes, same road, same experience. They replied to email eventually, said they will investigate.
Just as some trivia...
Naas becoming popular as filming location - Anthony Horowitz new book Marble Hall Murders is being filmed for BBC in Morristown Lattin house just behind Red Lane golf centre.
Gowran grange house was also used by BBC for the reboot of inspector lynley last autumn.
Someone in BBC must like the area 😁
Can anyone advise if it is it hard to get kids into secondary schools in naas. Hoping my two go to CBS and Marys respectively but wondering if it's unlikely as they won't have older siblings or parents that attended. I'm assuming they are th best schools but open to correction. Tks
Is that the house that went on fire a few times? Long drive from the side road.
It's a lottery. I have 1 in the Cbs, he went to Corbans. I have 1 in the Convent, hope she gets into St. Mary's.
AS far as I know, both junior schools are automatic feeders for the secondary schools.
I don't know the history, but it was previously used for the Irish RM many years ago. Long straight drive and the house is very visible from the road.
No big name actors - same main actors as the previous 2 series - Lesley Manville and Tim McMullan.
Yeah, I remember the fire in the 80s, probably just after it was used for The Irish RM. I always knew it as Mansfield House.
The owner family for very many years was Mansfield.
The house is Morristown Lattin.
Does anyone know what they're building in beside the paddocks? I was leaving the race course on Saturday and saw the area was kinda cleared for building.
