Will be interesting to see how the aftermath of this incident is reported compared to how other recent events were reported. The devil is in the detail, and language used (or not used) by politicans and media says more about what's really going on. Deflection and spin.

When I posted it, it was reported someone had been arrested.
Arrested doesn't mean someone is before the courts. Also I'm not aware of any arrests in this incident.

If the picture going around of him giving his name and address are real, it is a mental asylum he needs to go.
The email is real. The person named in it is being "framed" though. He is not a suspect.
People seem to think the person who sent the email is in Ireland, some doxxing cases are perpetrated by people overseas. Less chance of them being hauled over to face punishment.
I have seen the picture going around of it and the date is the American version, so that raises a red flag just there.

I'd say there's strong indications that this mail didn't even originate from Ireland... So a bit silly to automatically be jumping to complaints about sentencing.

The indications are it came from his peer group.

A friend of mine is a teacher in a school in the area of the threat.
I got a message from him this morning saying "Threat used "prolific" in the email, it's definitely not our school"
I mean I was glad he knew his school was safe but a clear indictment of educational standards in his place of employment 😉
I know a secondary school Principal very well.
This was about 40 years ago, he got a phone call telling him there was a bomb in the school.
He told the caller to fcuk off and stop being an eejit, and he hung up the phone.

God, as somebody who was bullied relentlessly in school, my thoughts are entirely with the victim if it was bullying. The more publicly you're targeted, the harder it is.
The use of punctuation in the email was pretty non existent, first thing I noticed.
Maybe the teacher is part of the problem. 😀
