Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Thats very ambitious for Morrissey, I've seen him twice in 3 Arena, and it has maybe half to 2/3d's full.
However, Vicar Street is probably too small for him.
sure he sold out two nights in vicar in minutes. Reduced set up with curtain upstairs I’d say
Some gigs happening 28th Feb to 2nd March in Howth pubs for the Oyster Festival.
Most gigs free. €20 - €25 for the likes of Ryan Sheridan, Frank & Walters, Leslie Dowdall.

he’s suit a 5000 capacity venue now.
sure 3 arena can be set up to that
Sure so can Croke Park.
Country needs a 5000ish venue. Won't happen though as Live Nation have their grubby monopoly over the country as it is.
There are still some now on TM if of interest to anyone, showing my age of course but never heard of this guy and seemed to sell out Marlay straight away, but that's life these days
Anyone gone to mad cool festival have any recommendations for accommodation or tips. Few of us possibly thinking of going
Yeah it's a great festival and beware it can be hella hot
There's a train station about 15 min walk from the venue that is great getting back into the city centre
Excellent food and drink options inside
Went in 2018, had the VIP tickets and hotel about a 20 minute walk away - that was great, slow walk in the sun to the festival in the afternoon, and nice to stretch the legs going back about 2am instead of dealing with transport. Plus shower before bed was great after the heat. Don't forget the sunblock! The crowd was good, not drinking to get drunk and they were enthusiastic.
Really enjoyed it, class line up that year and found it really well organised. Can't remember what the food was like which means it wasn't fantastic or crap.
We got up for hotel breakfast then back to sleep for a few hours, one afternoon went into Madrid centre. If you have a hotel with pool be good way to hang around! Booked festival and hotel as a package.
It went to a new location 2 years ago. My advise would be to get a hotel as close to the venue as possible. Transport can be a nightmare. If you can find a hotel close by with a pool even better
Nothing up yet on Morrissey .
Is this a definte ?
Would love a few tickets ...do ye think there will be a presale offering upcoming ?
it will be announced during the week, tickets on sale Friday. Presale with 3 mobile for sure.
Great, thanks!
Foggy Notions hinting at a big announcement next week with 2 horse emojis. Could be Band Of Horses as they're playing few gigs in Norway in July. https://x.com/foggynotions/status/1887452010339049757?t=qs8thI30ElMfF4O5YXIf9g&s=19
I think it's that band who's singer and drummer have big teeth.
Would be extremely happy if it was a band of horses announcement
Different promoter for band of horses so won’t be them
Boo! Let us dream for 5 minutes! You're the Boards equivalent of the Grim Reaper, Fanirish. Would love Band of Horses.

Fantastic news
Psychedelic Furs
Academy ,June 20th
Hopefully that curbs a lot of the touting, not great for people going as groups, no perfect way to solve it unfortunately
Yea they released the full dates there now and unless they play EP (lol), no room for any Irish date
Kendrick Lamar and SZA have announced that their Grand National Tour will come to the UK this July, visiting Glasgow, Birmingham, Cardiff and London. Tickets will go on sale this Friday.
probably the best lineup this summer so far for old EP heads etc
