Hoping a New Thread may fix the posting issues.
Also, I don't care how young some of these are, there needs to be better decision making.
you can be happy they are going out and still criticise the performance they arnt mutually exclusive
Don't be bringing the Atrocity league into this
Chiesa is moving around like that big gangly lad from work you invite down to 5aside when short on numbers
Was it not 10 changes commentator keeps saying 9
Jota the only one out there who is happy.for a bit of a physical battle.
Nunez heads it straight at the keeper. Some things never change.
Ffs
chiesea lads omg 🙈
Down to 4 games in March now good rest after the international break now too
Disappointing that but atleast it’s 90 minutes in the legs for Jota, only saw the last 20-30 minutes but Elliott and Chiesa made bad decisions/balls any time they got it. Onto the derby next week, let’s get back to our winning routine.
Who cares.
Well at least they have a break during FA Cup weekends now. Can’t say the players who started the game did much to push their case for more game time. Especially the more experienced players. More annoyed with the Gomez injury.
Fully deserved by Plymouth.
Chiesa was awful today.
Meh! Whatever about going out, the performance was toothless. This is a club that would be looking to loan our academy players, today none of the red men stood out or showed any real fight at all, and that’s what’s most frustrating.
Congrats to Plymouth…seemed well up for it.
Of course, but if the performance is good then we probably don't go out.......
I do obviously
Very true.
Fair play to Plymouth and I can't help but see the positives of the early exit but Elliott, Nunez, Quansah and Chiesa did nothing to advance their chances.
We are the weekends football headline again!
Probably the least upset I've been about going out of the cup. Should help us with the League and CL. We would most likely have had to play a strong team in the next round
Shame it was a sh!te performance, but can't say I'm too fussed about going out of the FA cup at this stage.
Only last week the tv pundits started the quadruple is on discussion.
Typicall
Hard enough to win one
Got we deserved and no issues with it. There'll be plenty of seasons in the future where we'll be more keen on an FA cup. But this season the league is as good as won and can give the CL a good go.
Didn't see a bit of it but full credit to Plymouth on the win,on to the derby midweek now
Ok but actual difference does it make
Why does anyone listen to TV pundits ?
Re Gomez, if it wasn’t this game, it’d have been another.
Radio was saying they thought he was ill more then injured
Here go off & annoy your family or friends I can't be bothered with your nonsense
Always crap to lose, even more so to a lower league team, but getting to this match would have been a chore. Add in we have more important matches coming up, it is no surprise we lost. We do get some time off and we have are one match away from winning a trophy so this is not like we lost our only chance for silverware this season. Had we been 3rd/4th and out of the League Cup and not looking good for the CL, then I would have felt differently.
This also stops the rubbish talk of a quadruple from other fans at least. We still have a battle for the league, whatever anyone else may think and we are not guaranteed to win the Champions League either and the extra matches would have been a pain to fit in. Congrats to Plymouth, you may have beaten the team at the top of the Premier League on paper but that was not even close to that team on the field. But you can only beat what is in front of you and they did that.
On to Everton now, much more important match and glad we did not have any of our starters close to this match.
