On the general 251 topic, im seeing plenty of suv's as expected, including santa fe's and cayenne's. Most interesting was a new Bentley Continental GT.

I’d have the blue over the black all day long. BMW black paint is soft and every swirl shows up on it. The blue is more traditional M5 colour.
Couldn’t be bothered about reg plates. Little things like that don’t bother me.

All car brands cut a certain amount of corners, but for good quality finishes; Audi, Lexus, Porsche, some BMWs, some Volvos.
Mind you, a premium finish and bullet proof reliability can be mutually exclusive.
Lexus is about the only one that offers both, but they can be fierce thirsty.
The 3x german premium brands are so common. Now have lost some of their prestige . Porsches no longer stand out now ' who would have thought ' bradys mercedes have a new bentley hybrid for some reason- now that is premium

I was in navan last week when two ladies no older than 21 or 22 pulled in with their identical green Taycans. Both them and the cars stood out.
They either have super rich parents or an Only Fans account. Probably the latter😂
But is it really? There are a few of them about and they share a chassis, engines, systems and technology with numerous Audis and Porsches.
They are a luxury car, but not particularly exclusive, and I think you need both to be truly premium.
Well it's €300 k and unless you live in mayfair or Monaco it's a rare sight
1 Bentley registered in January in Ireland, looks like zero registered in 2024.
To say a Bentley is not exclusive is a bit bizzare to be honest its just plain incorrect, i can't remember last time seeing one and I dont know anyone that owns one or even aspires to own one. Sharing some parts with Audi and porsche doesn't make it any less exclusive.
The big 3 German brands of Merc audi and bmw aren't exclusive anymore, they were 13th, 6th and 8th respectively in top selling brands in ireland last year. They do have some exclusive models but the badges are everywhere.
I know someone who buys a new Mercedes C-Class every couple of years but has now switched to a Smart #3 . Stupid name, nice car, brave buy.
Its boring.
Lovely car. Some rear third level brake light that. Still classy and stylish though.
