Bad news for Scotland if this is the case
Not sure we can blame Gatland when the whole of Welsh rugby is in disarray. There's nothing positive there whatsoever and it's reflected in the national team.
When did this happen? Looks like a logo from one of those unlicensed rugby video games from the 2000s
Gatland seems to be phoning it in at the moment to be honest. They just look like a group of bad players that are badly coached.
Ye fair enough but jesus it's desperate stuff. Regardless of talent, you at least expect to see shape on attack and proper organisation. They look badly coached.
Surely they can't be as bad second half!
Jac Morgan is very good as well, but he can't make a pack on his own.
"Gatland bringing Faletau back" is a sentence that explains a lot about what is wrong with Welsh rugby though.
I know things are bad in Welsh rugby but is this the best they've got? They look like an AIL side. Absolutely nothing about them bar a good scrum-half. They can count themselves lucky with the weather I think because with a try pitch I think Italy could have given them a proper going over based on that first half.
I'm not sure what the commentators were looking at when they said Faletau started well!? He's getting smashed in every contact.
Very sad state of affairs for Welsh rugby.
Italy didn't hook the ball there, Carley making them scrummage again.
Italy playing smart. Wales are giving away a lot of penalties so Italy are going for posts rather than the line. 16-3 is a good scoreline.
Another penalty for Italy. Welsh player off his feet on the ball at a ruck. 16 - 3
Before next 6 nations I think.
Penalty Italy. 13 - 3 now.
ah, yeah they are hard to see so I can understand that from Garbisi but it was easily in.
No, it was the ball staying in that I thought Garbisi was unsure of. Lines are hard to see.
Pretty sure it doesn't matter if he was in touch anyway as he was never in possession of the ball. You can touch down from outside the field of play.
Even Garbisi wasn't sure he'd got to it in time. But absolutely perfect.
That's a fantastic finish from Capuozzu at a bad angle so close to the touchline. And an equally good conversion.
That was a wonderful finish and well worked try. Italy are comfortably the better team here.
Winnett was one of their best players last season I thought.
Wonderful try by Capuozzo right on the touchline. Converted. Italy 10 - 3 Wales
You’d think Welsh kicking would be way superior, has been very poor in conditions that need good kickers.
Carley reffing. That will add a big random factor. Always seems to make himself front and centre.
PItch markings not great
A few handling errors already. Italy 3 - 0 up.
HEavy rain in Rome. This won't be a classic
Can someone answer. Is the end of this 6 Nations also when the seedings for the 27 World Cup are set?
Can see Italy inflicting more misery on wales here
Daffyd Jenkins and Liam Williams are late withdrawals from the Wales squad.
The latter isn't the player he was, but highlights the bizarre decision to not include Cam Winnett in the Six Nations squad. Jenkins out is a hammer blow.

Ha ha!! I get you.
It won't affect the winner of the tournament but it's potentially the biggest game for both teams and a must win for them. It could be every bit as good as any other match.
I do fancy Italy, they weren't bad last year and look decent enough again..
