Deflecting again I see. 🙄
You’re discussing it above, but yet seem to have an issue when I interject? Very strange. What had it to do with the show? An aspect of it (pertinent to the case as it transpires) was discussed on the show last Sunday.
In fairness, that sounds a bit like this:
I expect the weather and the question of the recall of the Dail were also discussed on the programme? But like the Pa Daly case they don't need to be gone over here.
Diverting to the new scandal of the Wall. Peadar Tóibín wants to get a very detailed breakdown from the builders of the cost. I will be looking for a detailed breakdown of the cost of the Pa Daly case. How much of public money was paid to each of the lawyers, and what is their hourly rate for a start.
But you did want to 'go over' it and when challenged you drew up the drawbridge. 😁
Mod: Warned for attacking the poster, not the post
That’s his usual style, lots of previous on this. Loves asking questions but runs for the hills when anyone dares to ask him (or her) one. As stated previously, I’m no SF supporter but I do see merit in this challenge. I sincerely doubt the poster would have any issue in this were SF the party of Govt. and the challenge was coming from an opposition of FG or FF. It’s only democracy after all.
I couldn't believe that Joe O'Connor picked his top five pieces of music without mentioning his sister. I'm sure she wrecked heads all round her, but she was still his sister.
Ten pages dancing on the head of a pin probably too much for the lad.
Mod: Warned for discussing another poster
Does the lad do that? He also doesn’t like being challenged, like a few others about here. You should tear him a new one tiger!
It's like all about like burgers now like….like
Is this anti-Cork sentiment here?
Brendan was right about burgers though, they are too thick a lot of the time now.
When to they have to stick those skewer 🍡 things in to hold them together they are moving away from what a burger should be.
Loike listen back to the chat…loike
C'mere to me.
Interview with him in today's IT, where he 'understandably' doesn't want to talk about his private life. Strange for an interview that's trying to get inside the head of a writer if you ask me.
Panel:
Johnny Fallon
Gina London
Máire Theeasa Ní Cheallaigh
Elaine Condon
Whaaaaaaat NO BRENDA POWER??
Retrofitting A-rated houses with diesel powered generators …. that's not going to happen. At least, the state isn't going to be grant aiding it.
It was funny hearing Gina London say she was from rural Indiana this morning. I distinctly remember her being described in her profile as a “Long Island native” at some “do” she spoke at that I attended and she also on more than one occasion described herself as a “native New Yorker” on her appearances on Newstalk. 🤷♂️
Don't panic. She was on IrelandAM if you want to get your weekly quota of holy Irish Mammyisms.
Mod: Other posters are not the topic and you can expect a warning and ban for discussing, or sniping at, other posters.
There is a Feedback thread stickied in this forum, a new charter is being devised and the forum is being tidied up. Everyone is welcome to contribute here but posters are obliged to post civilly or they will lose their posting privileges.
Oh Jaysus Francis Brennan having a trainwreck…soon to be cancelled.
Whats a thing to say..... getting mixed up between Usher and Drake as they are both the same colour......
T
Poor Brendan nearly had a heart attack 🤣.
What did he say? For a man on every second week, he's uninteresting and it's hard to keep listening to, I zoned out. 😕
Not playing the full song, or even 3/4s of it, really takes away from the segment.
lol
Oliver Callan’s Francis Brennan impersonation involves Francis frequently putting his foot in it and coming out with off colour remarks, followed by Francis saying “Oooh! I’ll be cancelled!”. Life imitating art indeed.
See zoobizoo above…apparently everyone of the "same colour" looks the same, according to Francis
🙈 Wonder will that come back to haunt him.
Probably not. Francis is cuddly…national treasure type stuff…so he'll be conveniently forgiven for 'misspeaking'
