That’s exactly what I posted a few pages back but gets lost in the arguments. Some of the most prominent musk haters on here have star link. I just think it’s hypocritical. Directly supporting him when it suits. My opinion is one out, all out. Don’t cherry pick what you want to support him on. I’m not on X myself either. It’s a chess pool. I left when he bought it. And I posted that on this thread many times.
I’ve never bought a new Tesla but I have had them and sold them, quite easily too despite the negativity around EV’s.
I also posted that Facebook is going the same way, and many social media platforms and running very close to being cess pools and that included this site. It’s a generation change away from the traditional forum culture IMO.
Lot of assumptions there, plenty have dropped off of Twitter because of Musk. Similarly I've seen early starlink adopters who are choosing to move on as a result of Musk's antics. So assuming people who aren't buying Tesla are using his other products is a big leap ATM.
Some people just feel pretty uncomfortable with the fact that he has damaged the brand but on top of this, there is far more variety on the market so Tesla is just one EV brand of many at this stage. So I'd say it's a mix of brand damage from Musk and a far larger EV market.

Your post stood out because of the ridiculous contention that an increase from ~60 cars sold to ~140 was in some way statistically relevant to much larger numbers in other countries showing substantial decreases. Never mind the fact that Tesla sales in January here are miniscule because of the way their deliveries are spaced out. And you know that, but there you were, attempting to counter the overwhelmingly negative figures around Europe with the statistical equivalent of a fart in a thunderstorm.
