Currently making some smoked mackerel pate.
I've been out of work for 6 weeks now (I had to finish my job due to illness), but I'm enjoying the freedom (of sorts) for now. Eat when I want, sleep when I want. But I know it can't last forever, rent has to be paid!
Balcony time for me with my cloak and Nespresso, started at 4 degrees.
Got called two nights ago for a 14 hour work shift starting at sunset, so a 24 hour awake period followed by a 24 hour sleep period, gotta love American cough medicine for helping with the 2nd part :):)
Coffee time, doing sixty hours most weeks now until end of March.
Jesus that's extremely tough!
Look after yourself, long-term those hours aren't good for you especially in shift.
Needs must, I know, but still...make sure you get fresh air and fresh veg where you can (something I need to do more of myself)

Five shifts thankfully, I don't manage the longer shifts than that very well anymore!

Homeside again. Was out and about earlier to get some fresh air and try to clear my head. The results are debatable, but it was still good to get out. It's gotten awfully chilly though…
Didn't nt go into work today as I have a kidney infection. On the antibiotics now. Oh that cup of tea and toast I had earlier was sublime. Sliding cups of tea across to those who have long working weeks ahead or are not feeling the best. February seems a little flat today....
