Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
Stephen Wilson Jnr playing Academy June 23rd.
Epica, Charlotte Wessels, and Amaranthe doing a one off super show in Amsterdam on February 7th 2026
What’s the presale code please?
it will be through the foggy notions mailing list that’s just been sent out
They Are Gutting…. , Weezer and JEW all playing here around June. Wouldn't be surprised if a few more of the smaller acts on the below lineups announce gigs too. It's a pity MCD didn't do a festival bill with several of the acts from below. Similar to 2020's cancelled Sunstroke. Twin it with Download. Deftones touring Europe in June, mostly festivals, but no Irish date. Annoying that POD have the Forbidden Fruit/In The Meadows main stage and tents sitting there free on Sunday 8th June, but probably not enough available acts to fill out a full day, given that several (eg Weezer and JEW) were contracted to LN.
nearly half those outbreaks line ups have either announced or to be announced Irish shows this year. Have a nice life, Julie, denzel curry, they are gutting etc all have announced shows. Bunch of others have to be announced shows so not much we are missing on that line up. prefer headline shows from those acts than 35 minute festival sets at 2pm.
Festivals don’t make money for promoters for years upon years if lucky. Reason sunstroke didn’t go ahead subsequently is costs have exploded and acts not available with suitable dates. deftones fee is crazy and doesn’t make sense for Irish market I fear.
I would've thought that would make the Irish market perfect for Deftones given we're a bunch of saps willing to overpay for everything
not enough saps for how much Deftones wanted

They sound really good, but I don't think I'll be able for it the day after In The Meadows 😕

not my bag, but that Spurs ground seating plan looks interesting:
Has their price gone up a lot since the last Dublin shows in 2017
Tickets were a straight 50 then kinda sizeable at the time.
60ish? for the scrapped covid 3 gig with Gojira.
London this year appears to be like 95 euro @ £85 plus fees, quite the markup.
More significantly I'm not sure if Stephen Carpenter is gonna go back travelling overseas guy from Crosses does a stellar job but it's not quite the same, setlist is more static. Only 3 songs the same over 2 nights that time at Vicar was magical.
yeah, only looking for crazy festival money now that doesn’t make sense in a small market like ireland. Not playing anything smaller than 5000 ish on next europe run.
.....and that's why I suggested an Irish festival/multi-stage event.
And they're playing Zurich with a 3200 capacity at 80ish quid a head.
The Ziggo is absolutely insane for them. Massive fan but the Amsterdam is stupidly expensive. We shall see.
Stick them in Trinity
too expensive for trinity
too expensive for that. Sure there London support act weezer was €80 on there own for trinity
I think the tickets are starting at about €35. What will catch me out is flights, as Arr Lingus have pulled the Cork to Amsterdam route, so that leaves KLM who were always double the price of Aer Lingus.
On a Saturday is really tempting me as I wouldn't need to be taking much time off work.
My thoughts exactly, doubt i'll make it after ITM. Never heard of them before today, sound decent enough.
They are playing the Piece Hall in Halifax which has a capacity of 5000.
Tickets are £63, ~75 euro.
They could play Trinity or Iveagh Gardens.
it’s 5500 capacity there and doing an extra show in uk as part a run of uk shows is different ball game than coming across the Irish Sea with a crew/tour buses/brexit paperwork etc.
the fee/venues they may accept in uk to do a show don’t necessarily correlate to ireland or similarly with a band doing shows in mainland Europe. Bands often accept smaller shows in mainland if it’s logical from a bus routing purpose.
thats a stunning looking venue in Halifax btw
Mogwai playing Mandela hall in late July
Black Sabbath final show w Metallica, Pantera, Slayer, Gojira and Anthrax at Villa Park that sounds absolutely amazing, July 5th

This is gonna be worth whatever they're charging that lineup..
Mother of God. That's some line up.
Yeah I looked at the headliners and I looked below and even the additionals are just stacked like, how much is it going to cost I wonder, it won't really matter I think it'll be worth it I mean it's just a lineup and a half like, all depends on Ozzy as well like
40-45k Cap Venue, Won't be surprised if it's north of £200………………………… But Good lord that lineup.
I think you'll be paying Oasis prices if they've enabled dynamic pricing you've to account for people from all over coming to see it, be one expensive trip but worth it 😂
