New Thread to continue discussion for General Premier League. Old thread closed.
When have we said that?
I read a debate in this thread where posters said that 3 at the back and high line would suit him, and he would show again now he is the best ball playing CB in the league under Amorin's system 3 at the back system.
City's owners aren't from Saudi Arabia, they're from UAE
I don't follow this thread closely. I must read back to see all the people predicting the result today.
£40m +£1
You do know he was stretchered off with a serious injury today, no?
When you say wheel him out for interviews, they would literally have to wheel him out…
Never gets old
What are they smoking over there?
Over a decade ago, 🤡
No I didn't know that. That's unfortunate.
I was referencing the rushing of players to be front and center in front of a camera after a high profile result but are nowhere to seen for the 5 weeks before and after because they've actually played poorly and had bad results.
Like last week?
I dont know how Amorin isn't under more pressure. This idea that his system is so complicated and different that professional footballers can't pick it up is pure nonsense. He's shown nothing so far to show he's better than ETH. All the players are worse now than they were under ETH bar maybe Amad.
Even if you buy the BS about the formation, then he has shown no ability to adapt to what he has. Everton have a terrible squad and are going to finish above United because Moyes is a good manager who can obviously communicate his tactics.
Probably because they identified him as the best coach in Europe and are willing to give him more than 6 months to turn us around.
I'd give him 3/4 years. If he can't do it, then there's no hope left. We've tried everything.
Jesus he's a long way from the best coach in Europe as you put it.
Everton were already using Moyes tactics, which lets be honest aren't that fancy.
I must have missed that so when he rushed to go in front of Sky cameras last week, tapping his head, saying how Many Utd's mentality has changed completely.
Maybe some one else can show the picture of it?
Or maybe it was all just for show to play up to the fans for that one good moment in 10 weeks performance?
My bad.
Motd had Arsenal at just over 1xg there. Would have thought the Odegaard goal and Havertz miss were worth more than that alone.
All interviews are done on camera yeh?
Christ none of you say anything about him until united lose.
*Taps head.
Does the multiple defenders on the line affect the rating of the chance?
I think he meant young coach.
or available coach. Think some other young coaches are perhaps higher rated, like Xabi Alonso, but I think Amorim was the best available option they could get. I like him a lot though, think he deserves a proper preseason and proper summer window before he gets really judged.
Big characters let their performances on the pitch do their talking.
Small characters rush to the cameras to tell the word about how great they are.
Martinez done the forner IMO.
Is he though? Maybe he was the best coach available at the time?
So you missed his 2 goals and assists during uniteds 6 match unbeaten run.
Colour me shocked.
What centre half will you obsess and nit pick over now that he's finished?
I'd say one of the best young coaches, dominated the league with a team other than the big 2, had decent wins in Europe with them as well, give the man a few windows before fully judging him as everyone and their granny knows the current united squad are shocking.
If you're using goals and assists as metrics to critique a CB on, well that says a lot.
Especially when Man Utd have recently gone on a run of losing 5 games in 6 in the league. Beating Rangers and Romanians in the second rate European cup won't gloss over that.
Shocking by united standards but better than Palace, Brighton, Everton, WH, forest, Bournemouth. All these teams look like they'll beat this united team, that's on Amorim
Amorim is probably a good coach but I doubt he’ll prove it at United.
He wasn’t the smartest appointment by United because
He’s just not road tested enough for a job of this size.
Of course you skip the 2 prem teams they beat and the draw against the top team.
Theres a reason I try avoiding this thread.
Yeh hes the one telling them to make basic errors, never thought of that.
Also united beat Everton 4-0 under Amorim 🤦🏻♂️ This thread is hilariously bias and blind.
Mad to see Liverpool doing well and United ****. Was such a great time to see Liverpool being shite for ages. Bring back the Benteke days 😂
