Cut off an inch of pipe and take the nozzle back, and get the proper size, they usually slip on easy.
Did the wind locks fail?
The problem is, the hose is not the right diameter, hence the question.
Stuck for space for a crush?

Like the idea, but I think it could be a bit light for some of LMx cows and bullocks. It's amazing the power they can muster up when in the crush.
I don't even like those galvanised circular uprights in a crush. I'd prefer the railway track girders as uprights any day.
Genuine advert
Oh yeah "Genuine" 😉
But funny just the same.
Ever looked at a can of WD·40? Try and find a genuine can or advert without the dot (·) between the WD and the 40.

Hi folks, I've seen them mentioned here before but can't find it now, would any of ye have recommendations on a method to remotely turn on/off the electric fence. I'm getting soft in my old age!
Wifi or GSM? Shelly are a great option if you have WiFi in the yard, others may be able to recommend GSM options.
Would have to be gsm as it's on an out farm

I have a 3.5 ton track machine and I have out side farms , I want to load it into my tractor trailer as I would be needing the trailer for shifting stuff.
Am I better off buying or making them. I think they are about 800 plus to buy
Would any of the dealers that import have them second hand, have seen a shed full of trailer attachments in a place local
I assume you would be making steel ramps? Aluminium ramps might be expensive the first day, but saving your back is priceless.
Ramps? I've loaded like this before not that difficult but but hairy the first couple of times. Some trailers might be too high. I'd also be concerned about damaging the trailer bed.
Them ramps wouldn't be long disappearing where I am. Too hairy for me climbing into a high trailer, been there done that. Seen a few low loaders on donedeal with the axle coming through the floor and u load from the front for small money.
Jayus, that out of my pay grade, thanks for replying
This is what my driving might look like
I have seen them too. Only I could be going an hour away and I'd have to go back for the tipping trailer for most jobs.
Used one once, loaded from the front. Take the tractor off first, thought it was handy.
Inspired by some of the posters in this group this is my attempt at a storage bin out of an IBC. I have ordered rubber tie downs like the ones on JFC bins for the front and I'm not sure if I might upgrade to hinges on the lid but I'm happy as a first attempt.
oh
Find it fix it farm it on YouTube made a spinning jenny recently, I looked a good job 👍🏻
Head gasket replacement and new head on Massey 390. Informative, no nonsense video.
Were you to recommission a shallow well on your farm with a solar submersible pump? I'd be interested to know how you got on. Did you test the water quality?
I recommissioned an old well with a solar pump. I never get it tested but I pumped it out with a petrol pump a few times before using.
Thanks, does the depth of water determine the size of pump and solar panel?
No, an electric one. On hold ATM as rewiring the house. Will go at it again when finished.
Depth of water, volume of water needed, distance to pump from well and time of year all have a bearing.
How much water do you need to move, how far and how high from water level in the well?
Any of the pumps I've setup have been relatively small, enough for 30 or so cattle and not far from water source, but I've done some repairs on the inlaws SPS solar pump too.
