I don't know much about PlayStation. My son has a ps5 slim. His uncle is coming back from overseas and wants to get him something to go with it.

To be honest those stands are flimsy enough.
You can get the official charger stand for similar money. And You can get the new playstation elite headset and it comes with a hook the can charge the headset once you connect a usb.

Has anyone tried the Sony Pictures catalogue with PS Plus Premium? Does it work in Ireland, and roughly how often does the content get changed?
Looking online it seems about half the movies get changed every couple of months
If it works here then for the extra €25 it doesn't seem too bad. Certainly seems like a decent enough selection of movies
It is available here on selected Sony TVs and PS5 for PS+Premium subscribers.
The picture quality and bitrate are great on the 4K content. The only negative I see is that you can't connect the account for the tv app with your PSN so purchases are separate on each platform despite being the same service.

Would any of you like to see a new Drive Club game released?
I wouldn't mind it, I've actually been meaning to boot it up again. I always loved how the rain on the windscreen had actual physics and moved when turning, really added to the immersion. Handling was a nice balance between arcade and sim.
If I remember it also had really good night racing and lighting, one of the only other games I've played that had proper cockpit lighting up from headlights behind you. And considering it came out early in the PS4 lifespan it holds up pretty well. I have the bike DLC too which is also a bit of fun but didn't get much of the car DLC so the main game is a bit lacking .
I think the launch was a mess as it was supposed to be a PS Plus game or something, then it got delayed a lot? I also feel like I missed out by not racing online much I think online was supposed to be a big part of it.
Would love a new Drive Club but a 0.01% chance of it actually happening.

Well lads, said I'd ask here first before doing the google searches and just getting directed to reddit! Had my ps plus expire in June and then re-upped about the end of Nov with a BF deal.
It's premium now, and was also before it expired.
Thing is, despite being able to access some games, the PS thinks I don't have Plus and tells me so.
I can't access some older titles I got on plus, and game streaming doesn't work at all.
I figured it might need a sign out / sign back in, to fix it, but the only sign out I found, just signed me out of PSN, my profile was still on the PS.
Is there an easy way to remove my profile from the PS, then add it back, or is it a fúcking nightmare I should avoid?

Alright, I deleted my account from the PS and went through first time setup again, and all is now working, in case anyone encounters the same issue! 👍
Sniper Elite: resistance looks like version 5.1. No different gameplay or enemies (not such a bad thing and who doesn't like to shoot nazis in the nuts) but a few more maps. Don't think it warrents a full-price buy though, will probably be reduced in a few months

Was surprised that Eurogamer gave it four stars given that reviews seem to echo what you've referenced - same old same old.

Sony are removing the 30th Anniversary themes tomorrow but claim they're working to bring them back in the future. They could have just... not removed them but there you go.
