disappointed to see MDL have it. No real competition for BYD. It’s be good if they have a Chinese competitior. MDL can now apply an Irish tax to both.

So MSL are doing Xpeng as well - would they be better off focussing on BYD rather than adding a similar brand to the stable?
They already do Mercedes, Mazda, BYD, Skoda, Smart etc so what’s another one 😂

Mark, is that a press release price (BYD for example) or the real OTR price? Do we need to add MSL €2k fees?

€1950 for BYD so can’t see it being any less.
I think it could look better than the MY. Certainly the rear. It’s sleeker and has a Porsche look to it. And the VW part ownership of Xpeng is probably where that comes from.

It is kinda generic, but so is all this stuff now, Atto, Model Y. The only one that jumps out at me is the design of the new Kia’s, the Ioniq 5 is one of my favourite presently.
Still better than a Swastika Tesla I mean.

Yep agree with you on the Kias and the ioniq, they are daring and unique although there will be 3 sizes of the same kia design soon if they ev5 is released here, which I assume it will.
I put huge value in style in cars nowadays over power or range or efficiency, just love a good looking car
I used to be like that. I like the power, tech and ease of use now. I’ve put the looks somewhat down the list when I owned some teslas. It I may come around to looks again when I’m buying an EV in the future. EV6 tickles me but the ID3 GTX Performance is top of the list if I can get over the horrendous VW warranty and after sales.
