The two Johnnie's are to move to the iconic mid-morning Gerry Ryan slot and Jen Z goes to drive according to the red tops today https://www.rsvplive.ie/news/celebs/2fm-planning-major-shake-up-32825017
A pair of insufferable "influencers"
I don't know anything about her other half.
not sure why you posted it in this thread. she's gone from 2fm and the marraige is all over the news and social.media anyway.
Christmas Day on Radio 2 1981
He's supposed to be a comic, don't think I have ever seen anything he's done TBH.
I see 2FM's Paul Russell is retiring from RTE this month, he has been with 2FM since 1990 and was one of the main producer on the gerry ryan show. Only a handful of the old 2FM team left now.
"self help guru" apparently
Duck Garrihy is back.
Roz Purcell on the air now too.
2fm listeners will soon have negative IQ. Sickening that we have to pay for these pea brains.

Now that the heat is gone off RTE, seems they're opening up the wallet to waste once again. Fair city was cut down a day for cost saving yet they've brought that episode back again.
It seems to make no sense. RTÉ put out a call for new presenters and it results in established people getting gigs.
Doireann Garrihy - former presenters and we have to make her stick some how, Oh I needed to leave !
Carl Mullan, Roz Purcell (no real change and a move) Aishling Bonner from Spin, anyone know how long she's been a spiny?
Laura Fox - No change
Tracy Clifford - No change
In fairness I don't know the weekend people Benny Bracken, Helen Galgey, Mikey O'Reilly and presenting from the Cork studios, Demi Issac.
Guessing Game On was not included in the new talent for 2FM.
AFAIK Jenny never left 2FM she felt she was demoted by not being offered the mid-morning or afternoon slots, she was put in the night schedule. eventual going back to her Friday and Saturday nights.
Doireann Garrihy left according to her "pursue the projects I've been dreaming about", that was just 6 months ago.

Does 2FM stand for Female Majority? Very female led schedule there. If it was the other way around there'd be massive outcries.
In other news "It is an absolute dream come true to have my very own show"
and she goes on to say "radio is where my heart is, and absence has only made the heart grow fonder"
When did the call out for this July?

As per NK playbook her socials will have her saying the above and then being congratulated by the rest of the NK Mafia and bots. Should be stomach churning if you’re in the mood for that.
This has been the case for some time. 2FM is now a woman's station.
Just look at the NK stable of people involved. The serpent's head is 2FM, the belly is goss.ie and the likes, the a*se is the above stated social media clique that are out to praise and like all others content no matter how sh*te it is.
You may not like their presenting skills.. but no need to insult them.
I got fed up of 2fm a few years ago myself but its not the presenters fault they are put in these positions.. The finger of blame is squarely directed to the Dan Healy.
So Aifric got the bullet?
Of the new weekend presenters, Demi Isaac is joining from Corks 96 FM where she presented on weekends for the last year or two. Better known to a national audience as a cast member of the young offenders.
jaysis, I had a look at Garrihy’s Instagram as I wait here in Heathrow for my flight home. It seems everything is gifted to her or sponsored. Renault (who else? You’d think they’d have learned their lesson with Tubridy but apparently not) car for free, Wicked premiere London sponsored by Universal Pictures Ireland, Wine sponsored by Centra…..it literally goes on and on. It’ll make you sicker than the comments.
Oh, she'll shill for anyone and anything. I'm guessing RTÉ must have relaxed the rules on freebies again, so she's back.
Do you think you mentioning that you are in heathrow is relevant to your post ?
Yes. Looking at Doireann Garrihy’s instagram is not something I’ve ever done before, and based on that experience not something I want to repeat. Waiting for a plane is dead time; mentioning I was waiting for a plane in Heathrow is relevant as it shows how bored I was at the time to lead me to look at her profile. I provided context for my viewing. I also (for additional context) mentioned that I was in London yesterday in the Ryan Tubridy thread - this update was to let anyone who read said thread that I was now on my way home. Whilst in London I did look for posters of Ryan Tubridy and throngs of children screaming at the sight of The Toyman, but didn’t see any. It’s almost like no-one knows who he is there? Intriguing. On a more general note, sometimes when people write they add information to their text to create a more vivid image in the mind of the reader, rather than just give bare and minimal information. This is often called descriptive writing. Hope that helps.
Poor Aifric O'Connell shafted from breakfast
Needs a certain agent….
Just have a look at 2fm's last JNLR book for it's intended demographic and just take into account the Dublin market alone. Look at the figures for Newstalk and compare it to 2fm.
In any other normal competitive commerical radio environment the PD would be removed.
Thats a farce…Aifric is great craic and is always great to listen to.
Paul Russell is gone, who has replaced him,?
..
Seems that way she's brilliant and good chemistry with Karl. Roz is the golden girl now it seems.
Yup very good no mention of her in the schedule shake up probably thrown to a weekend slot.
Lets face it. Poor oul Doireann walked on 2FM/RTE when they clamped down on all the freebies and shilling as she thought she was such a major "star" shed be rolling with offers and when that didn't happen she's back.
