Anyone watching this?
It's on BBC iplayer, finding it rather entertaining if you're stuck for a random binge watch!
Boom! Charlotte is ruthless, has completely set Freddie up now, it’s all on tomorrow. If Freddie can twig that she has set him up he might turn on her and get some support against her, I’m expecting a bloodbath tomorrow, every man/woman for themselves at this stage.
Omg you are one evil Traitor Charlotte😄
She hung Minah out to dry. If looks could kill she would be dead from Minah's death 💀 stares.
Then she makes mince meat of poor Freedie, like a lamb to slaughter.
She is good😁
in terms of Charlotte "getting the last vote", that's TV. The producers know who everyone is voting for. They then pick where to start from to make it the most dramatic for TV.
If you can't trust a make believe Welsh person who can you trust
Oh what a tangled web we weave…Charlotte playing a blinder
Really enjoyed that episode
can’t help feeling we’re being manipulated by the producers - Charlotte getting the last vote; Leanne mentioning her shield to some of the group including Minah, but not Freddie?
I’m calling bull on this - something stinks - no idea what the twist will be tomorrow, but I reckon it’s designed to move Alexander centre stage
When it comes to who is left I would be happy for any of them to win.....outside of Leanne and to a lesser extent Jake.
Charlotte voting for Minah was epic.
Charlotte picking Freddie to join her as a traitor is a good choice, it breaks up him and Francescas little block. Edging him towards Leanne good choice from her POV.
Leanne and Jake...are absolutely useless faithfuls. Leanne is like a petulant child she is also bit thick imo and Jake not much better (wolf my arse).
wow! Great episode. Charlotte is on fire.
An obvious ploy from Charlotte knowing what she does, but does pretty much guarantee her a place at the final roundtable.
Listening to Jake and Leanne together and then Leanne revealing she had a shield to Charlotte has reduced my will to live.
No surprise at Charlotte being utterly cold as ice!
No surprise at Minah being found out.
Freddie new traitor totally trusts Charlotte…I mean…talk about a fly into the web
Wonder if the "..and have been since the very beginning" comment by Minah combined with the "all female traitors" comment meaning Alex will be in firing line as a potential male recruit?
EDIT: Jake and Leanne reading my mind obviously.
I'd like to see Alexander getting/winning the Seer ability.
It’s tricky to figure out who will make the final at this stage. I assume it will be 5? My guess would be Charlotte, Minah, Frankie, Freddie and maybe Leanne.
Hard to see Joe/Jake surviving murder before then and hard to see Alex surviving banishment.
I still think Charlotte can make it to the end and walk away with the money but she is playing a risky game and may overplay her hand.
Yes I hope Minah out smarts Charlotte, out "tratiors" her
This may have been posted before but anyway, a reminder.
Charlotte is definitely playing well as a Traitor, but she's also running the risk of suggesting Minah is a Traitor too early. If the Faithfuls banish Minah before the final and they're still looking for a Traitor by the final episode, it could fall back on Charlotte as the one who was egging people towards it being Minah without actually accusing her at the Roundtable herself.
Not that I have much faith in these Faithfuls to put that together, but it is a risk nonetheless.
Yeah I'd say there would have been some contingency for it. Maybe the Traitors would have gotten to select which three players go into the cages for that task and then one of those would be eliminated from the game. Or there will likely be one night this coming week where there's no murder (to have 5 people go into the final episode), whereas if no one had left the train and there was an extra person, then there would have been that final murder.
Also, I wonder what the plan was if 3 players didnt leave the train, would they have played on with extra players and change the task later in the game
You'd imagine they either would have had another way to eliminate them or just played on. The entire show wouldn't be laid out on day one, they adapt the challenges etc based on how its going. The show is dynamic and will react as needed.
I think what is lacking this series is an unlikable traitor. It is more interesting waiting for a player you really dislike to get rumbled and banished as a traitor than to get banished or murdered as a faithful. Armani was banished too soon, could have been a really dislikable traitor. If Leann or Joe were trators and throwing other under the bus this series would be much better.
Yeah but Charlotte is considered a faithful by the majority around the table as it is, whereas Minah is definitely in the firing line now. Like a previous poster I'm surprised at how good a traitor she is.
I'm not sure Charlotte is as canny as she thinks she is - I think she's started moving too early, there's 2 more round tables left and she's mentioned Minah a couple of times already; if Minah gets a whiff of that, she might be able to turn the tables on her pretty quickly and I'd say Minah would hold up better in a round table interrogation than Charlotte would.
I'm surprised that Charlotte has been such a canny traitor so far. Given her ridiculous game plan of using a fake Welsh accent, I wouldn't have expected much from her.
I'll also be a bit disappointed in Minah if she doesn't see it coming, and is taken in by Charlotte's scheming.
I can see the faithful coming for Minah this week, Charlotte is only waiting for her moment to jump on anyone that brings her name up, I thought she was going to make her move on Friday but I think she will do it this week, you can see she is purely biding her time and will pounce at any given opportunity.
Minah picked the wrong faithful in my opinion, Charlotte will definitely throw her under the bus.
I hope Alexander gets some of the dosh. He comes across as a genuinely decent skin.
Me too. Really enjoying it. I suppose like all these things it has a shelf life, and can't run on forever. I thought Leanne would be a better participant than she turned out to be. Joe was pretty much unlikeable from the start, imo.
I agree re the twist. It needs a different slant now than three people apparently being ejected and then reappearing. I'd also like to have seen what the other guy (with the mullet) would have been like. It must be a bit disappointing to never actually get into the game at all.
Fadder Lisa got more interesting and vocal just before her murder, she named both traitors but voted to banish a faithful
Jack willingly got off the train. Hard to say any of them got a raw deal.
I thought fosia was one of the better players of this season, jack got such a raw deal.
The only good side to the twist is that if fosia was there on the first day, then we might have to have suffered more of yin, as the traitors would probably have killed fosia over yin.
I'm still very much enjoying this series, but it's definitely the weakest UK edition yet. I don't think there's anything wrong with the format though, I think it's just the cast that's the issue this year. So many deeply unlikeable people. Although to be fair to the production team, they probably couldn't have foreseen just how unlikeable both Joe and Leanne would turn out to be. They were probably also expecting Lisa to be much better, but she turned out to be a nothing contestant.
I also think they need to do away with this 'twist' of people being eliminated in the first episode and returning at a later stage. Alexander and Fozia were two of this years better contestants yet weren't really given a chance on their return (although we obviously still don't know how it'll ultimately play out for Alexander). Just let everyone show up on day one and give them a fair crack of the whip.
