Starting a thread for 2025 gigs as they'll likely start rolling in.
I'll arbitrarily throw in Rob Beckett playing the Olympia on the 26th September 2025 which went on sale today.
cause Justin Timberlake and Alanis are playing the Saturday and Sunday respectively.
7pm tonight, check you spam
he must own a gaf in Ireland at this stage.
Duran Duran nice
Hopefully will grab a ticket for one of the shows, missed out on seeing them the last few times
The MCD link will be
https://www.ticketmaster.ie/queens-of-the-stone-age-dublin-20-08-2025/event/180061766CEA08B1?did=prompre
They always just take the standard URL and add ?did=prompre on the end
Wonder will BrightEyes not be drunk this time?
Surprised MCD still promoting them after their EP performance in 2021 where they came on stage, lead singer off his face on either drink or god knows what else. Shouted at his own band barely hit a right note and they didn't even play their biggest song.
By far the worst live act I've seen, wouldn't touch them with a barge poll after that. Maybe it was a one off, but be warned anyone buying tickets
Has anyone any idea how much. The Duran Duran tickets are
selective memory has been Dublin promoter for all Conor oberst shows including bright eyes in vicar st the day after that disaster at EP 22. So was surprised mcd doing this upcoming show. yeah his onstage alcoholic appearances have been getting more frequent in last few years. Hopefully he is getting treatment after disaster of shows last year.
Please please tell me now
Hoping it's under €100 personally
€70 or €80 plus TM fees so really either 77 or 87
I was at the Vicar St gig (night before EP) and thought he was in great form, albeit his usual ramshackle self. He's not exactly renowned for his crystal clear voice and hitting notes 😅
The sound and time for EP the next day weren't great so I can understand why people didn't love that. Twasn't great!
I'd seen him be messy before (Cassadaga tour) but that EP set was a different level. More stoned than drunk I thought, and since that appears to have continued it's surprising his management still allow Obest on the road. Maybe he keeps changing them. An impressive artist but he needs a couple of years help. See also Evan Dando. Best of luck to both of them.
Ho! What a performance that was! Absolutely baloobas! I'm a big fan and was REALLY looking forward to it but Jesus. Myself and the brothers still have a chuckle at the Ted Rogers 3-2-1 **** he was pulling with his fingers all night. One of the great songwriters of our times but in an awful state these days. Still has the occasional show where he pulls it all together and I'd be raging to miss him at his best.
I won't get it either way so appreciate if someone can fire up a code!
Ah lovely…thanks for that
Seems Duran Duran has a mastercard presale stating tomorrow
Anyone have the link for that please and thanks
It'll be this site I imagine but iirc you need to actually pay with a mastercard.
https://shops.ticketmasterpartners.com/duran-duran-priceless
Really ? Didn't pay anything like that to see them in St Anne's Park but I suppose inflation ...
Great for Malahide Castle , good gig for us golden oldies !
Edit .just realizing Simple Minds on Trinity the following night 😬
Looks like that week is shaping up nicely !
st Anne’s was €60 plus TM fees. So €10 extra for Nile Rodgers/chic as support. Nile/chic ain’t cheap
Think we paid 54 on presale so hence the question. But yeah better support I suppose .
Nb
Damn Revolut don't do the 'Virtual Mastercards' anymore 😕
Their virtual cards are still Mastercard (mine is at least). The rest (physical and disposable) are Visa.
Lord of the Lost playing Academy 5th November, German Eurovision entry of 2023.
Seems all my account are 'visa'
Ah what harm, guess I'll wait the extra day for the MCD presale
Can't see it selling out quickly
Hearing on the forums that NiN are going to announce their tour tomorrow with some events already in Ticketmaster or announced via scheduled post mistakenly due to the fires in L.A, what are the chances of them playing here, slim to none I can imagine?
Not looking good, haven't seen anything suggesting a Dublin show.
yeah no Irish date. Only a meagre number of shows in the European run with tentatively only 2 in the uk
golden circle will fly out on presales but it will overall get there eventually
Is the seating down in Cork at that venue still 'first come first served' ?
Wasn't there since Liam Gallagher in 2019 I think
what venue in cork are you talking about and what does cork have to do with queens of the Stone Age?
