New Thread to continue discussion for General Premier League. Old thread closed.
City are still too flaky for me. I can't see them staying consistent enough to get back to 2nd place by the end of the year.
As they are only 6 behind Arsenal and Forrest now and assuming Halland and Foden etc stay in form for rest of the season , I’d say it’s nearly a short odd bet they will be second. As Liverpool fan I’m very glad we have the 12 point gap with a game in hand
City certainly building up a head of steam
I said they're winnable not that they'll beat them
I'm saying that the upcoming fixtures are set up well to get back on track
What makes you think United will beat Fulham, or even Palace?
Fulham have looked a better side any time I've seen them in the EPL this season, organized and pull together. Haven't seen Palace much, but they are on a good run.
That's enough of that I think. 3-0 Man City. No point watching it if it's not going to be competitive.
A really poor game to show at 430 on Super Sunday.
City will finish top 3,maybe even top 2
United as the last two seasons have shown us are only a cup team but the reality of that is they they’ll win much more that 90% of the others. Arsenal are typical of what I’ve just said there. All mouth and hatred for an old club that won it all but still are winning crumbs that they can’t. And won’t.
Man City make it 2-0.
Next 5 very winnable for United. Fulham 10th, Palace 1pt ahead of United and then Spurs, Everton and Ipswich who are all below them in the table
Unfortunately, they're going to be back on track pretty soon you'd reckon, with some very handy European and FA Cup games in between
Well that's where Man United are(13th).
Bloody autocorrect ,:)
Onana isn't great.
He's good enough for bottom 10, and maybe a bit higher but Utd need an upgrade on him asap.
Trust me, dust is settling on what he done but he’ll have to go.
He said "Yes we can", when asked if Man United would lose again.
Southampton, bottom of the league on 6 points were beating Man United after 80 minutes in the last league game. They were more than a match for Man United and should have been further ahead.
It wasn't until Southampton started making substitutions that United got back into the game. It got worse and worse with each substitute, there was no quality on their bench.
Brighton have quality in their substitutes, and didn't let United back into the game at all. If anything, they could have scored another goal or two.
What did Obama do , they’re fuming in the utd thread
I think I heard that's Brighton's first back to back PL victories since early last season. Man United haven't won back to back games this season. They've won 6 of the the last 7 games against Man United. And have lost 3 times in a row to Brighton at Old Trafford. Man City are the only other team to have done that.
Nobody left in old trafford to boo the team off!
Should have been 4-1, took too long to take the shot.
Changes now are required for one of the most disgraceful United teams ever. One of the the Trinity past away and looking at this is an absolute disgrace.
No harm in anyone being tripe but having no heart is something that kills the soul.
Pretty much.
No words.
Class finish from Kula that
One of the most embarrassing goalkeeper moments ever at Old Trafford. 3-1.
He has gotten away with so much from referees over the past couple of seasons. Literally punched Wolves player in the head in 2 different games but nothing given. It’s ridiculous.
This Man Utd team seems to love a good home loss.
Bayindir might start in goal the next day for Man United.
Horrible mistake for a GK that would walk into any team lol!
