I can't remember the precise figures (if I find the paper I'll correct them), but I seem to remember that a faecal trasplant can resolve a C. Diff. infection in 97% of cases and in 4-5 days, versus Vancomycin (antibiotic) which works in 20-40% of cases and in > 2 weeks.
