A thread for chatting about Temu bargains.
ahh great, thank you fritzelly
Took a chance on a coat once - went a few sizes up, when it came one arm was longer than the other!
Ha ha. The size I got was for a chihuahua. She couldn't fit her head through the neck hole.
I've never had to return an item, if I wasn't satisfied they always gave a refund without having to return the item, maybe it's because you're new to them.
Not all give you a receipt nowadays
silicone air fryer liner €1.09
chips don't come out as crispy as using baking paper though
In my experience - these get awful grimey, and pretty near unwashable after a couple of go's.
Reckon there's more value getting disposable liners.
Not sure if already mentioned in the thread but noticed when I received my last 2 orders that I could get a price check on the order and if items were now on sale cheaper they give you back the difference in Temu credit
Been like that since the start - have up to 30 days to claim credit if on sale cheaper, have to go in to order and select Price adjustment (?) yourself though
Mine is fine for ~ a month now. I use hot water and washing up liquid, and hang to dry.
Is it easy to get a replacement air fryer crisper tray?
Good price.
Its personal preference in our house. My wife likes using a silicone liner and washes it out straight away while still warm.
I dont use them. I put hot water in the basket with the metal tray still in and swirl it fast for a bit.
Either way you need to do it soon as the air frying is done or its a messy build up.
A dishwasher tablet left steeping brings those silicon pots up clean as well.
I just squish them up and rub them together under a running tap and it gets everything off.
Bit of Baking Paper,no washing up.
30 sheets of parchment paper in lidl 89c. 15 "x15"
Thirty cooking bouts then. Silicon liner works out cheaper 😋
Have to account for the washing up.
This is peak middle-class argument..
Fastest customs clearance ever.
Arrived at 10:45, cleared at 11:05. It's a big parcel too with lots of stuff.
I've never been caught out with sizes yet. Did you check their size guide when you were ordering?
You shouldn't have any problem with a refund anyway.
I’ve never been caught with Chinese sizing, once you use the size guide provided it’s spot on
There's usually a line that says "size guide" on clothes and shoes. When you click on it it shows the recommended UK, EU, US etc sizes for S, M, L etc.
I got my second ever delivery from Temu today. The first one was a disappointment as the sizing was wrong but that could have been a mistake on my part. This was perfect. Nice bit of stuff. I love opening those packages.
US suspends inbound parcels from China - one Temu fan moans “In response to the idea that it’s a good thing if people stop ordering so much random stuff, I say: ‘What’s the point of living in a country if I can’t order 100 pieces of junk for $15?’”
Should be popular with cash strapped Americans
Had a parcel redirected to a collection point when I collected it I didn't realise it was tampered with 4 items gone, no help from An Post Temu have issued a refund over 16 months of ordering and this is my first lost/stolen item very disappointed to say the least.
I know it sucks to lose items but at least temu issued a no hassle refund, a lot of places would look for evidence and you have to fight for a refund 🤷
Anyone know how long we have before these new EU checks come in & kill off Temu?
That €22 exemption was for VAT, not customs duty, and it ended in 2021. Among other poorly written things about that article.
Gave me an headache reading that article
