Personally I feel sorry for first the Children, then school Staff and the board of management.
I also feel sorry for the female guard who was thumped off a radiator.
The Burkes are bigots and violent bully's I feel nothing but contempt for them.
I struggle to think how anyone could feel sorry for them.

He won't be arrested - the school has to go back to the High Court to request enforcement of the order.
Now, if I were petty, I'd leave him there for at least a week (or two). Let him cool his jets in sub-zero temps.
There is also the issue of the DAP. If he is imprisoned again, will it be stalled again?
Now that the Court of Appeal has finally denied EBs injunction against it happening, it might be better not to have him imprisoned again. At least for now.

Yes but i'm beginning to think that the school might have made some error in the way they dealt with him and that's why the case is taking a long time. Hope not but surely with minimum effort this could have been moved up the list to prevent this stuff still happening outside the school.

Almost assuredly he will be barred from entry to the US if he has a conviction for violent crime.
US border controls tend to keep out the thrash unlike in europe.
I'd be tempted to keep the school open (by appearance) with the staff there, no pupils, due to the weather, just so he would feel obliged to turn up & stand at the gates freezing cold. As hell will freeze over before he gives in, I'd take pleasure at him standing there freezing his particulars.
It's not so much standing up for what he believes in and more that his cult of a family have him brainwashed into doing it.
I see it no different as people in other cults like Scientology or Mormonism. Familial pressure can be huge in those situations.

The appeal on the temporary injunction on the Disciplinary Appeal Panel proceeding was only lifted in December. That took over a year, and got Burke another year worth of pay. They're playing the system.
Then Christmas was upon us. Now, its the New Year, and it might actually start to move along, unless EB finds some other spurious reason to apply for another injunction, on another member of the DAP. I'm sure the family researchers are furiously looking into digging up anything they can find.
The courts do not have to grant an injunction.
That particular one was based on absolute folly and should have been called out as it was.
It's right time now the courts stop bending over backwards for this cretin.
At the end of day we are all paying for the circus.
True, the courts don't have to grant one, but that won't stop him from trying…and trying.. and trying… and trying again to delay the DAP proceedings.
With a solicitor and a barrister in the family (so no legal costs to Burke) they're going to try everything they can. What has he got to lose?
The proceedings can go ahead now without his involvement. If the injunction has been lifted.

It doesn't even have to go ahead in full in reality, if the panel form the opinion he is maliciously trying to delay or effect proceedings they can just rubber stamp it.

Well in fairness if he tries again to submit another bullsugar application he may find himself barred from doing so in future. I can’t remember the law but there’s one where the high court can bar you from making any applications without advance permission from the court. Some other barrister has had it applied to them or is under threat of it due to similar carry on.
I don’t think Burke is going to be invited to the DAP anyway? I imagine it would be a case of written submissions.
What has he got to lose?
