I'll post the rumour, but this Switch 2 dock looks different from the other leaks. I thought the front lip was supposed to be lower.
I can't really get interested in cross platform titles on Switch 2.
I'm sure the new Nintendo launch games will be amazing. I also hope they provide free upscaling and 30 - 60 FPS on games like BOTW and TOTK. Also, the new pointer controls sound like they have much better screen pointer support a la Wii. I bet we get Super Mario Galaxy 2 now and a load of other Wii games that require precise and fast pointing.
Nintendo is making Switch the platform to play all Nintendo games past, present and future (next 20 years anyway).
And with Xbox and PlayStation games on PC seems like SteamDeck/SteamOS devices will be option 2. Also a load of competition again now in portable GPUs.
It'll be Nintendo (Apple) and SteamOS (Android).

Looking back at the leaked Switch 2 case designs in September, I'm guessing that the right Joy-Con has mouse controls too.
We haven't seen the finished right S2 Joy-Con detached though, or not that I'm aware of at least.

I'd say they have some crackers lined up.
The obsession with the console exterior is uninteresting tbh, especially as it seems like a slightly tweaked update of the Switch (as expected). Of course it'll be interesting to see the tweaks that have been made, but it's been clear for a while it's a wholly conservative hardware update. Which is all Nintendo needs to offer tbh.
Nintendo has the info that matters still in the vault: the games. No matter what the device looks like, something like a new full-fat Mario or Mario Kart game would be the real special sauce for the eventual announcement. Nothing else would come close.
Thats a good point. Big buzz at the moment but is there much more to leak? Im expecting an announcement very soon...
How much does it cost to do a console announcement?
Maybe Nintendo are trying to save money by not doing an announcement, knowing that the leakers are doing the work for them for free. Or maybe its some kind of marketing ploy.

Remember I posted about CES? Well, it's happening.
I guess Nintendo aren't bothered, or maybe they know the horse has already bolted and they'll keep what they can under wraps until they officially announce the Switch 2 themselves. Like software, possible new NSO features, pricing, etc.
This could go on for quite a while.
