I changed from black to white interior after I was assigned a VIN so expecting I'm no longer going to get deliver later this month or early next.
Does anyone know how often tesla get big deliveries to Ireland? I have heard both once a quarter and twice a quarter.. Anyone know? Hoping my delivery doesn't go into q2.

It still suggests a delivery time of January on the order page if I try to do a fresh order of my configuration..!

Model 3 here, same age bracket, 123.ie was about 500.
My Model 3 was offered to me for collection on 29th of December, I refused as i want a 25 registered car and now its estimated delivery between 14-29th Jan. I have a VIN assigned etc. I am a little confused as I can see some users above were requested for payment..which i havent been yet. I am doing part finance with a deposit, finance has been fully approved for some time through Tesla finance Ireland however the app still shows in step 3 "Credit decision pending"
I had the same issue. A glitch where Finance Ireland have you fully approved but that is not flowing through to reflect on the tesla app. I rang Finance Ireland a few time who told me they would look into it.. Got fed up waiting so pinged tesla on chat and they got it updated instantly.

there is a different approach taken in different markets. in Australia prices are up but include extras (20" wheels, any colour + more) in China it is basic price with upcharge for the extras Suspect this relates to the competitiveness within the Chinese market so there is a drive to keep headline prices low
first cars got Acceleration Boost too, I seen somewhere.
I've seen this happen to others and now to me as well: offered an acceptable trade in price by Tesla for my current car (Tesla MY 2023), put down a deposit and submit for a final valuation - and it's €2600 less than before! Very sharp practice and very likely to push me to another brand instead.
January is probably a tricky time to value used cars but it’s definitely turning buyers away. A price valid for 30 days is nonsense especially when they can’t even tell you when your new car will be delivered.
Can you put your car up on Donedeal? There's a price to be paid for trading in and that's the convenience factor.
If you were happy with the figure, and I'll assume its a trade figure which is low anyway, you should be able to achieve that on DD.
Its a tricky one, but what are dealers supposed to do? They cant stand over a trade valuation for any longer. BYD do the same and one garage, Cupra only stood over a trade in price for 5 days when queried.
It is tricky and Tesla obviously have just farmed out the risk to whatever traders they flog the trade ins to. If Tesla made an effort to actually retail used Tesla’s like the OP’s car, it would be much more convenient to trade up. They’re just missing a trick to the detriment of existing Tesla owners.

They said, well a staff member did, (and we know that means shag all) that they are trying to get into this, but Sandyford is too small for that!
People generally, don't want to buy online, they like going up and walking around the cars on offer.
But it seems to be widespread, VW Owners are getting very low trade in offers, the BYD Owners Group, guys are reporting that they went in with Dolphins to try get into an Atto and they were shocked at the trade prices, same for others trying to go Atto to Seal.
My brother bought BYD last year and they farmed ouy the risk too on his trade in.
Tesla are selling traded in Teslas but space is the issue. When I collected my highland there were rows and rows of older Teslas, I asked them are they are just in from trade ins and they said they are there months on end and they just don't have the time to get them either into the trade or sell themselves, their focus was on delivery of new cars

Maybe someone will know. I have ordered M3 on 30th of December. I have used a friend referral link which was 750 euros for him. It has changed now back to 250. I am expecting delivery on beginning of February. Will he be getting 750 or 250 as it is stated on the Tesla website that 750 was only for the cars delivered in 2024.
That seems ridiculous. Huge amount of cash tied up that could be handled by just hiring one person to get them sold.
Tesla can jog on - deposit now down on a BYD Seal! Had offered me pretty much the same last week for the MY as Tesla originally did. Was very much 50/50 between the M3 and the Seal all along, but Tesla have now made my mind up for me!
