Why not make light of it by trying to out-farce it? Comedy has a way of making someone look incredibly foolish and mad at times, why not use it?
I think a counter protest would end up fueling the fire. Plus I think it would end up disrupting the school even further. So there's definitely some sense in not doing so.
Because being gay, trans or any member of the lgbtq+ community isn't a farce.
What I don't understand is, why has it not occurred to people to start a counter-protest, and get two members of the LGBTQIA+ whatever else group, preferably two trans people, to spend the day snogging their face off off beside Enoch, saying all kinds of depravity that they'd like to do to each other, but using biblical terms instead of sexually explicit terms?

For some it could create all kinds of conflict for them - they would disagree with Burkes views but equally they would be against taking anybodys hard earned dole.
Even if he's on the dole for the rest of his life a percentage should be taken off him, it would also send a message to some of these other professional protesters that seem to be free to protest outside a school on a Monday morning as well.

If they try hide payments for Enoch's work; they'll get shafted - and rightly so. If he works for Mammy, he'll need to be paid something and that can be taken off him. They actually aren't, the second you do any actual work - which tutoring is. You need to be paid minimum wage for an internship, and have been since it was introduced in ~1999.
Unpaid where you watch someone else, and do nothing, is still allowed. That could not apply to tutoring.

In the private tutor option, it may be trivial but it'd be outright fraudulent. Revenue aren't one to mess with.
