Are the VF3 any good for shorter distances or are they hm and up? I was looking for a 5k/10k racer and heading towards the takumi sen but that is a good offer however I've never run in nike
I haven't tried the VF3 yet, but in general the vaporfly are aimed at the shorter distances(up to HM) and alphafly for longer distances. That said, I've raced 5ks in the alphafly and you'd still see a lot of the top marathon runners at bigger races use the vaporfly 2.
These should be perfect for 5/10ks, but it comes down to personal preference really.
Great for 5k and 10k. I did my 10k pb in a pair during the summer. Slightly better than the takumi sen imo.

they havent recently discounted their top tier shoes, I was looking for VFs and ended up getting them on sportshoes.com

It's a bit different this year so far, lots of exclusions to the sale, and lower availability. Hoping for something Alphafly related going on sale over the next few days! I have too many unused/barely used Vaporfly 2s, so I'm resisting the Vaporfly 3 so far…
Sports direct still have Vaporfly 3 for around €150 delivered in certain sizes, which probably would be around the lowest they'll realistically get to from Nike.

There was no availability with the Adios 8 in my size at the time but I'm determined to get a pair (brilliant for 5k paced and quicker stuff which I do a lot of).
Anyway they're currently now €102 on Sports Direct, which is as cheap as I've seen them in my size.

Zalando are a well known online German retailer. You shouldn't be charged customs.
