I've opened this tread because I seen national lottery have started the sales of the millionaire raffle tickets today, draw takes place new years eve, around 10pm I think
Nada here
467908 is the winning big one
I bought a few tickets online.
Result = no luck.
Results are up now - congrats to all the winners.

National lottery app is down for maintenance 🤪
Website says currently not available due to the draw taking place - what time numbers published?
I decided to buy my first ever one of these today but I was too late
Probably for the best I never win anything
I hope the person who wins it has a better life because of it and it brings them only positive things and joy
And I hope it's one of you!
It’s not shown live anymore. A random generator selects the 8500 winning numbers.
I would have thought it's about 0.014 chance with one ticket. Having said that, I like my odds.
Is there somewhere to watch the draw?
No negativity now please. At this very moment every one of us 600,000 can dream it could be me. Its only after 10pm that there will only be a few of US winners. Dream on for now (with some beer)😀
I don’t think anyone on here feels entitled to a return from this. We know that over 98.5% of people entered will walk away with nada.
LMAO some people seem to be realising that the Lotto is a for-profit gambling product and no amount of time and money you’ve wasted entitles you to any return whatsoever. Well done on taking the “if you’re not in you can’t win” bait.
I don't see how it's a 1 in 70 chance of winning a prize when 591,500 ticket holders will end up with NOTHING. Or 98.58% of ticket holders will win Zilch. So is not then a 1.42% chance of winning a prize?
No, wait, I guess it is a 1 in 70/71 chance of winning a prize. It just sounds better putting it that way, rather than saying a 1.42% chance of winning. All I know is that I must have bought at least a dozen over the years and never won anything.
And I mentioned above that I bought 40 tickets in a row for the Irish National Lottery and didn't win a single thing, with an average of 3 lines per ticket. And the odds of winning any prize is 1 in 29.
I think the recent €1 million raffle top prize for Lotto Plus players was better value than the Millionaire raffle. Sure there are more guaranteed prizes in the Millionaire Raffle, but it's €25 a pop. Whereas entry in the Lotto Plus €1 million was €6, and you had a chance of winning the jackpot which was over €4.7 million, and the Lotto Plus 1 prize of €1 million and Lotto Plus 2 prize of €250,000.
There’s a 1 in 70 chance of winning a prize (8500 prizes) with the smallest prize €500 so odds aren’t that bad.
Better odds now too than when it was 300000 tickets when I think there was only 534 prizes (2 €1million prizes though).
After 10.00. Please spare a thought (and some cash from your winnings) for those of us certain to end up with nada! 😥
The advertisement is last year's recycled with that pair of twits pulling the card from each other so no cost to make a new ad. I guess the cost of running it on RTE, online and in newspaper adverts. Many would buy their tickets via the website or app so depending on how many do this, the amount needing to be paid to retailers would be less than if they were all sold via retailers. But would that cost nearly €9m, even if you include some given to good causes?
Good causes national lottery always do this even if you buy a scratch card but some of it will be going to ceos pockets
More importantly now what time is the draw at tonight and how soon will I know if Im a MILLIONAIRE🙏
Why would they give it to a Canadian teachers pension fund when a French gaming company own it?
Are French gaming companies that generous?
Some of it goes towards the cost of running the ads for it. The retailers make a bit from each ticket sale and charities will get a percentage. But, ya, a large proportion will go to the Canadian teachers pension fund.
Canadian teachers pension fund
So they're making €15,000,000 (€25 * 600,000 tickets) out of this but the total prize money comes to £6,342,500 ((1 * €1m) + (6 * €100,000) + (15 * €10,000) + (45 * €5,000) + (302 * €1,000) + (8,131 * €500)), so what happens to the left over €8,657,500 they're making out of this? 🤔
Best of luck to everyone who has a ticket I've 2 and gave mam 1 so 3 in total , been doing this 4 years running and zilch so far hopefully tonight can change that
Good luck to all here who bought a ticket. But I didn't buy one, last year was the first year I didn't buy one. Never won a thing on any of them. I have the worst luck when it comes to the Lotto. The most I've ever won in over a quarter of a century playing every Lotto draw going, Daily Millions, Telly Bingo, Lotto, Euro Millions, you name it, was €104. And that was the only time I've won a 3 figure prize. I recently went 40 National Lottery tickets in a row without winning a single cent, not even a poxy free Daily Millions ticket. When the drought ended, I won, wait for it, €3.
They are, it says sold out at the bottom of the home page.
Seems to be gone from the app so looks like they may be sold out
A video about how rich the McAllisters must have been to live in that house popped up in my YouTube a few days ago.
671 Lincoln Avenue in Winnetka, Chicago would be worth about $5.25m.
Ticket numbers are over 599k now.
Bought my last one yesterday which brought my total to nine.
I reckon they will sell out the 600k as that was 583xxx.
Also was gifted one as well so I have ten.
594xxx at 21:55 today.
Maybe this year I will win something.
591xxx @17:00 today
