LIDL Bagenalstown had quite a few boxes of their upmarket ALL Butter Mince Pies reduced from 2.49 to 1.49. I'll drop in again tomorrow hoping they have a pallet load with a decent reduction. ALDI only had their cheapo one that is hardly worth the reduced price of 69c
I got mine for 69 cent :p
Its actually not as bad chocolate as i remember them being.
no bargains, just getting bread, still loads left and only 50c off sweets and selection boxes
Wrong thread but Aldi and (surprisingly) Tesco seem to be the go-to places today.
I got well over €100 worth of stuff for 42 between the two.
There's more as well but I've already put them in the fridge.
Even though the discounts on some of the stuff were bigger this is my favourite. €25 down to a tenner. Thing is, I don't want to open it to put the cheese in the fridge 🤔.
Me too, and the 20% off Favorina scratchcard comes off the reduced prices too.
Some reductions without the scratchcard--
Coconut macaroons €1.49 (50% off)
Choc lollies 59c each (50% off)
Gingerbread house €4.99 (22% off)
Gingerbread filled hearts €1.29 (35% off)
Gingerbread choc covered glazed biscuits €2.29 (34% off)
Jellies €5.99, no reduction
Cuddly toy & chocolate €4.99 (28% off)
Spiced biscuits 99c
Almost nothing in salmonella corner
Does lidl have time locks for the alcohol section or can you browse anytime in morning
You can browse but the till won't let you buy before the appointed time
More Favorina reductions, if you've a scratchcard take another 20% off
Pack of Candy canes 69c
12 regular mince pies € 1.19
6 luxury mince pies €1.49
Gingerbread Rounds €1.19
Yule log €1.69
All butter shortbread €3.99
Extremely Chocolatey biscuits about €3.69
I've just been offered an early birthday present! (I obviously fibbed about my date of birth when registering)
Anyone tried a pack of 4 jam doughnuts, I wonder what they're like? Otherwise it's Henry Hippos, or flavoured popcorn, neither of which are remotely tempting, even free!
So, no bargains.
Exactly! Knowing that might save someone a trip. The 12 mince pies less 20% if you have it = 8c each which isn't bad but you'd expect better overall by 29th Dec. No reductions at all on lots of clearly Christmassy things... 12 Christmas crackers still full price at €6.99.
Surprisingly (given their usual performance) it's Tesco that have the best post xmas price drops. Christmas cards 20c etc.
I got the same and haven’t bothered either, tbe donuts are awful going on past experience
Yeah, gut feeling says if they're on a par with a pack of flavoured popcorn, they can't be up to much!
Anyway, as if I needed any more rubbish at this stage…..
My birthday was yesterday, the doughnuts aren't great but the henrys are pretty nice.
I'd have gotted the doughnuts but they had none at the lidl i was in. The reason even though i said they're not great above? I'm a slave to "value" :p
It's funny that you single out the mince pies. They are not in stock in my local Lidl. Nor were they before Christmas, which is why I asked about mince pies going out of fashion.
But Lidl is absolutely heaving with unsold Christmas stock. Could it be that shoppers are finally voting with their feet?
Happy Belated Birthday
lots of Christmas stock left everywhere it’s not just Lidl, I was in SuperValu and aldi earlier and both the same and nothing even reduced
Hi. I was wondering if there was a PARKRUN code for this week? I was hoping to snack on some free fruits since last week I picked onions :3
PARKRUN is normally given out on Wednesday and they didn’t bother doing one for Christmas Day, they might give a free pear for New Year’s Day but I doubt it
ohh I see :0 Thank you!
Bananas..to energise our New Year..??
For anyone with the points / app, this is by far the best deal. 790 points should only get you something worth around 80cent, but these spuds (2kg) sell at over 3euro. I’ve redeemed 3 of these coupons in one visit too and got all for free with the coupons .
The premium baby potatoes on offer for 69 cent this week are absolutely lovely also - good bargain
what is parkrun on the week
It’s a run in the park Saturday 👍🏻
A lot of us do the parkrun and you get a code to redeem a free veg fruit item each week. Great little reward after doing the run!
'Shop and spin the wheel for a prize' - what is this on the app? No dates, minimum spend mentioned
TV ad has something about that as well. No details though.
They have it in UK now - buy 1 item a day, and get a free spin
Question about Lidl points,
I guess I have accumulated loads of them but am unable to find them on the Lidl app.
How do u find your total of available points?
Thanks!
