I got some joy from telling relatives that my Mrs bought me a S3XY knob for Christmas, the juvenile that I am.😀
😂😂
Sorry Gumbo.....I couldn't resist the juvenile urge to be a knobhead🤣
Buy online. Easy as ordering from Amazon….
Ohh wait, you mean those button things….. 👀
IIs it difficult to acquire a sexy knob?
Can be if one uses the sexy buttons or sexy knob feature
or the previous gen, gone quite a while now
Yes you can’t alter the regen on M3H
Is it true that the regen braking cannot be dialled down on the new model 3?
Plugshare - find chargers, see recent user check-in’s as well as photos of the chargers
ESB eCars
EasyGo
Applegreen
Ionity (or a provider that gives access to Ionity, like ChargePoint)
ABRP - A Better Route Planner - for planning those long trips outside of the Supercharger network.
They come with standard carpet mats like all cars 👍
Cheers, bought new. Thought I'd read somewhere they don't come with mats. Appreciated
PlugShare is a good app to see charging locations.
Model Y comes with mats. If you bought second hand and the car has the mats removed, there’s a few sets on adverts for sale.
Hi there, so once the EV is bought, what next…what apps to install etc around charging etc etc.. Also noticed no mats come in the Y I bought.. Where have people sourced thier tesla mats.
Appreciated
there’s a thread full of referral codes so make sure to use one if ordering…
Ahh, referral code!
I'm seeing 37,484 for that on the tesla website, how you getting 36,984?
Im really tempted.. Don't really need it though!
Taxes are technically in place but no manufacturer has increased prices…….yet.
At €37k it must be the cheapest it’s been ever alright. Actually €36,984 on the road for RWD model in white.
May have been covered somewhere in this thread.. Couldn't find it.
Extra tax/duty hitting Chinese EVs, are these taxes already in place now on the Model 3 price, or is that coming soon?
Also, at under €38k for the base model 3, is that near enough the cheapest it's been in Ireland? I note this is approx. 10k cheaper than the same car in the UK, for once we are getting a better deal.. Why such a difference!?
Nope
Hey folks, I just charged my Model 3 for the first time at the Sandyford supercharger… my app shows the cost in Pounds. Is this normal?
Tesla's have very little servicing. If you do book a service they will come to you unless it's a major job. As for tyres, you don't have to get EV specific tyres, most of the time they just have more noise insulation. Ordinary tyres are just fine and slightly cheaper. I would get jack pads or pucks in case the tyre centre does not have them.
Probably wanted one or two as demo and ended up using as loaners maybe, from looking at the ODOs they have done fek all and a decent option for anyone wanting stalks and immediately availability
Why did they register them if not sold?
Since the recent price drops they have been holding their value quite well if that’s what you mean
are teslas used prices higher than market?
See Tesla have finally got around to putting back up for sale their first lot of LR RWD models a year after them being registered but not sold. Must have been parked up then some used as loaners
If you're coming from an Octy, make sure you're ok with the smaller Model 3 boot. It's also not a hatchback.
Just wondering folks, is a used Model 3 a good purchase for a rural user? I’m about an hour from Cork if any services are required and not sure if the local mechanics would know much about Teslas. Also, could buying EV tyres be an issue at tyre centres more used to ICE?
Have an ICE Octavia 172 and fancy a change, hopefully supply and prices improve a little in the new year.
